Hue Authentic Street Food-tour

My wife and I did this food tour when we were in Hue on our Vietnam honeymoon and it was by far the best food tour we did during our three weeks there. Thousand was super friendly, fun to hang out with, and very knowledgable and welcoming. We would have never gone to some of the places he took us and he even brought us to some last minute spots based on what he saw we liked. Pulsing recommend highly enough!

I had a fantastic food tour with Tzcham! Very nice (and tasty) to get acquainted with the local cuisine of Hue in this way, which is very different from what I had tasted before in northern Vietnam. Furthermore, it was very pleasant, and interesting to learn some of the history of Hue. Recommended!

Don’t eat the hotel breakfast and save your appetite for the tour:). We ate all of the best that Hue had to offer. Cham was very knowledgeable and really fed us well. It was all such a memorable experience for our family! Best thing we did while in Vietnam!

Authentic food that we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. Our host Tzcham explained that he chooses new spots if anything drops in quality. Really in depth explanations of why dishes are the way they are and fun and laughs throughout the tour. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Our favourite activity in Hue!

Had a great time with Cham, on the back of his scooter visiting ~7 places. All dishes were new to me apart from Banh Mi (which was excellent), and all were great. Little spots all filled with locals so you know they’re genuine. Cham lives locally and frequents some of the places we went. As a solo traveler it was great to chat with Cham and learn more about his life and Hie in general. Highly recommend.

Chum was very personable. Very helpful in what we were eating and how to eat the dishes.

The Hue authentic street food tour on the back of scooters was our favorite activity in. Vietnam so far! Our guides introduced us to so many interesting and delicious foods that we never would’ve found on our own. We ate in hole in the wall eateries, surrounded by local people. Our guides tailored the experience to our food preferences while making sure we got to sample many local specialties. You don’t really appreciate the ballet of scooter traffic till you ride on the back of a scooter.

This was our favorite activity on our trip so far! Our guides were tremendous! The food was delicious and expanded our appreciation of Vietnamese cuisine by letting us taste food we would never have experienced otherwise. Our guides were great scooter drivers also.
