Beschrijving
Geniet van een fietstocht naar een van de beste ambachtelijke brouwerijen in de regio New York City Metro tijdens deze dagtocht. Neem het Hudson Valley's 'Old-Put' fietspad naar de Captain Lawrence Brewing Company in Elmsford. Spring gewoon op de Metro-Noord trein (met een fiets), en reis dan naar beneden 35 mijl van schilderachtige, autovrije spoorpaden. Aan het einde van de rit geniet u van een proefvlucht van lokaal beroemd bier. Vervoer staat klaar om gasten en fietsen na afloop terug te rijden naar het treinstation. Er is geen auto of auto nodig en lunch en bierproeverij zijn inbegrepen. Deze tour wordt eens per maand gereden. Vertrek voor je tour vanaf Grand Central Terminal. Neem je fiets om 09:10 uur in de trein en we ontmoeten je wanneer de trein om 10:29 uur in Brewster aankomt. De rit begint hier op het treinstation.
Rijd 35 mijl over een geweldig autovrij fietspad met een prachtig landschap. We geven je 2 pauzestops met onbeperkt hapjes en drankjes. Halverwege de rit is er ook een picknicklunch inbegrepen. Je krijgt een echt goede sandwich op je bestelling gemaakt.
De fietstocht eindigt bij Captain Lawrence Brewery, waar een proeverij van maximaal 10 bieren bij de tourprijs is inbegrepen. Geniet hier van een geweldige tijd voordat we je terugbrengen naar het North White Plains Metro-Noordstation, waar je de trein terug kunt nemen naar Grand Central

Well Organized and Very Enjoyable Experience! The Empire Trail was super for biking. Great Lunch Choices! Lukas communicates well and provides amazing customer service. The Captain Lawrence Brewery is a super way to end the ride.
I've done a lot of organized bike rides over the years and this was truly one of the best. Lucas and Laura are a great team. The information provided prior to the ride, as well as the day of the ride, was well organized. The rest stops, lunch and the final stop at Captain Lawrence Brewery were all very well planned. I highly recommend doing this ride.
As a solo rider it was wonderful! I was able to ride at my pace, and enjoy the amazing ride. Met up with the group for lunch and at the rest stops. Ride was well supported and the GPS providing tid bits of info as you rode along was well worth it! I definitely recommend this tour group!
Lucas and Laura are great guides who take good care of the riders. They tailor the trip for a range of levels, which allows everyone to go at their own pace and have fun. The views are stunning along the trail, which is most of the ride. Drinks at the brewery was a great way to end the ride.
An amazing and enjoyable bike trip. Lukus Herbert as our tour guide was well informed, flexible and continually accommodating in helping us with the planning and execution of the trip. His recommended "Ride with GPS" navigation system allowed us to enjoy the sights without being preoccupied with a map. His hotel recommendations were good and he conveniently provided our rented bikes in route and picked them up as we returned. His being available daily to answer question we very helpful. I would strongly recommend Gotham Bicycle Tours for this trip.
This is a great way to see the Hudson Valley. This particular weekend it still felt spring like, sunny and fragrant. Captain Lawrence Brewery, the end point, is a blast with beer flights, live music and corn hole. The Gotham team is organized and informative. Highly recommend this experience.
It's a great tour - Lukas is very detailed oriented, organized. It's such a fun ride, perfect crispy fall weather! Very challenging for us - Laura is very encouraging the whole way.
Lukas and Laura (and Henry too!) were great! The tour was very organized, expectations were set and it made out for a lovely day. Lukas, especially was very accommodating. I liked how you had the support of the tour guides, but you can also go at your own pace. All of the snacks, drinks and lunch provided was more than enough, and to end the day at the brewery was great!

Lukas and Laura were wonderful tour guides. Lukas provided great explanations of the route and the lunch setup was both delicious and serene. The Hudson Valley was beautiful and well shaded and although quite some distance for someone that doesn't ride often, it was relatively flat and not too difficult. Laura provided guidance on the tour whilst Lukas met us with his car at various checkpoints so we knew we were on track and in good hands if any issues arose. I will definitely look at doing another tour with them sometime soon.
