I very much enjoyed this tour. It was an incredible experience being able to get so close to the animals. Mike took us to a souvenir market on the way home. Pickup was on time and the transportation was very clean.

I had an incredible experience and can’t recommend this team enough! From the very beginning Tim made the whole booking process so easy, smooth, and reassuring. Everything felt safe and well-organized, which gave me complete peace of mind, as I was traveling alone. A huge highlight of the experience was the guide, Mike. He is so knowledgeable and passionate not only about the safari and animals, but also about the country and its history. I learned so much from him during the drive to the park and he made the entire day even more meaningful. The horseback riding safari was unforgettable!!! Riding through beautiful nature being so close to animals is something so surreal! Truly one of the best days in life. Thank you all so much!

This horseback safari was an absolutely amazing experience. It was my first time riding a horse for such a long duration, and it turned out to be far more enjoyable than I expected. Riding through the open landscape and seeing giraffes and other wildlife up close was truly unforgettable.

Tim and his wife Elise are wonderful Tourquides. The whole Tour was so well organized. Especially when we expected heavy rain during our Horsebacktour and Zipline Adventure, Tim switched around times and had rain ponchos ready for us. He took many pictures with his professional camera and made sure, that the quide from the zipline took pictures of us. During the horseback ride, the guide called Tim to come to take pictures of us, since we got off the horses and stood between 7 giraffes. What a wonderful experience We also had chargers for our mobile phone unfortunately we forgot them in the hotel) A variety of Snacks at our seats. He even asked. if we would like coffee or tea at the pickup from our hotel...Water was provided as well. I have been to Johannesburg many times, but 1 have never had a tour quide, who took such good care of us. We were treated like good friends or family. Also the whole booking was very fast and different choices where offered Other Tourcompanies didn't even reply or didn't make any effort to arrange the desired tour. Also the prizing was just right. We had an amazing 2h horsebacksafari with the Team of wildsidesafaris . The communication and the Organisation all around went perfect and on time. All questions were answered imidately and that confirmed Our choice to book here. The tour took place in a nature Parc, assisted by a local guide. Saftey helmets were provided. The horses were in a good condition and very calm and friendly- perfect for unexperienced riders. During the ride we saw all lot of animals like giraffes,Zebras,ostrich... which was great! It is a lovely half day experience and we highly recommend to do it!

Tim was incredibly friendly and kept us entertained throughout the entire tour. He picked us up from our hotel, served us coffee and biscuits, and even recommended some great local food to try. The biscuits his wife baked were absolutely delicious—I honestly wished I could take them all home! If I ever visit South Africa again, I’ll definitely get in touch with him. The horse ride was another highlight. It was the perfect way to escape the busy everyday life and enjoy a truly peaceful time. We were able to see many animals up close, including giraffes and zebras, and both Tim and another guide kindly took lots of photos of us with the animals. Even if you’re not experienced with horse riding, there’s no need to worry—the horses are very smart and well-trained. A visit to Hartbeespoort Dam is also a must. The scenery was so breathtaking, it felt as if we had stepped right into a Disney movie.

What an amazing trip at Harties Horse and Trail Safaris. Tim picked us up and was very welcoming and happy to have a chat which started the day off right. When we arrived my cousin and I had a wonderful time riding horses amongst the other animals and saw giraffes, zebra and kudu to name a few. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking to see African animals a different way! Thank you again to Tim for his expertise and recommendations.

I did 2 Tours already with them, one with Tim and one with Mike. I was very happy with both the tours. You can clearly tell that both of them love what they do! Communication was very easy and quick. I am always recommending them to my fellow colleagues when they are looking for a safari in Johannesburg.

We very much enjoyed the safari. The guide was so funny and always took care of us. There where so many animals to see and also the environment itself was nice. The horses where well behaved and trained. I can only recommend it!
