Saw alot but one day is not enough time to see everything plus the two boat tours. We couldn’t even find the harbor cruise point. I suggest you buy the 2 day pass! It was a holiday so most the shops were closed. The windows at the reperbahn were empty. Overall worth it!
When you book with Viator Be very carefulWhen I booked this tour for my stay in Hamburg which was supposed to be from the 28th till the 1st I understood that I could do the hop On hop off and the lake tours a day of my choosing but on the 29th when I went to book it I couldn't find any of my Booking so I called and the girl that I talked to say Cancel that and book a new one you'll get your refund in 5 to 7 days so I canceled and booked another one and it was the same tour just for the next day Because I booked the identical tour for the next day I really believe I should have got a refund for the first day it didn't cost you anything and the information I got was very sketchy even when I checked on the tour it said that I could pick the start day anytime but that option was not available when I wanted to start my tour There should be some consistency between what you say and what you do I travel a lot this is not a threat it's just a statement but if I do not get my refund from radiator there are other tour operators out there thank you for letting me vent
English option advertised, hard to find. Many of the outlets on the bus did not work. We had to disembark and wait for another to find working audio outlets. Those who understood German had it easy, others not so much. The driver would add I do only in German so we don’t know what we missed. The boat trip was only offered in German. We were supposed to download an English audio guide and bring headphones but the pre-tour information was missing. If it weren’t for Marcel at the dock who allowed us to use his hotspot, we would not have had ANY idea what we were seeing
We bought tickets for the hop on hop off line C (red-yellow) for four for €78. Did the first lap around Lake Alster and then got off at the town hall to continue later. We waited at 3 different stops and he drove through each time. This was the most expensive hop off and not hop on ride. Never again!!!!!! For €78 we could have booked a private tour.
Vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback. Allerdings sind wir die roten Doppeldecker und betreiben lediglich die Linie A. Daher ist diese Rezension hier leider an der falschen Stelle. Wir würden uns freuen, Sie beim nächsten Mal an Bord unserer Busse begrüßen zu dürfen
This tour does not have much flexibilty if you miss one of the two cruises. We were lucky to get on the Alster cruise as it was booked out by a visiting cruise ship - there was only room for the two of us. There was no time to hop off the bus and catch a later bus. The two cruises were enjoyable and informative,
A good way to see the most of the city in a limited time. We were on a cruise and had only part of a day to spend.
The bus was great with earphones provided by the bus line to listen to English narration. We purchased the triple tour which included a boat tour tour on the Elbe river. The tour narration was only in German with no translation until we remembered we had Google translate which enabled us to read the translation. The lake tour we were told we were too late to participate yesterday as the last boat left at 3:30 pm. We were there about 4:10. They said we could go the next day at 10:30 a. m. There are different lines for the hop on hop off so beware of this as we did Line A yesterday and we're going to use the same ticket as it should have been good for 24 hours. When we boarded the bus today we didn't realize it was Line C which we were required to buy a new ticket.
No very happy, this is the first time in all the tours that I had done that there are not in English speaking :( main tour guide
The hop on hop off tour was a great way to not only have a bus pass to all the tourist locations (which our ticket was good all weekend) but to also learn a great deal about Hamburg. If you didn't bring your headphones, make sure to ask for some, they have them, so that you can listen in up to 10 or 12 different languages. The harbor tour was horrible, unless you like looking at a bunch of shipping crates. Also, they don't provide headphones, which is a must if you want to hear it in english through the mobile app. We didn't know this so didn't get to hear anything in english.
Bus tour good and driver will issue your tickets . Cruises both nice but no English commentary which was disappointing. Apparently you can download an app for this but I didn’t bring any headphones with me on my cruise so that was pointless information. Wouldn’t have been difficult to give a little commentary as English is spoken very well in Hamburg . Also they do not advise no English given .
