The location of the starting point was incorrect on the ticket and it wasn’t indicated if this was the red or green bus tour. Commentary was poor and in many cases incorrect. Would not recommend this to anyone.
This Hop on Hop off your was similar to others meaning it allows for an overview of the city of Seville. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't more time spent & information shared about the more historical part of Seville. The streets in this part of the town might be too narrow for the bus though. We spent too much time on the other side of the river touring through the day-to-day working/living part of Seville, a lot of time viewing the expo site and too much time talking about the architecture of the bridges. We felt there could have been more historical information shared about Seville as well as information about what Seville is so well known for.
we had an EXTREMELY difficult time finding the stops to get on - nobody spoke english, we stood at a stop for an hour in the heat - it was wrong on our map that was from the website. I texted support they never answered!! when we finally found the stop they would not take our ticket online from Viator - then we found the buses were green. not red!!!!the green ones rejected them too - had a paper on they also rejected that !!! had to search 75 emails to finally find the pdf they wanted- horrible
We did the tour during the day and also once in the later evening on the same day. The bus itself is okay, fortunately also equipped with a tarpaulin... That cloth provides shade and makes the heat bearable. In the evening that cloth stayed on for most of the time and that was a shame. Unfortunately not comparable to eg Paris. The Dutch audio guide is not 100% tuned to the route: sometimes I searched in vain for what was described. The evening tour was boring because there was almost completely the same route driven with the same comments. Seville certainly has beautiful buildings and squares, but you should discover them on foot. We would not buy a 2 day ticket again.
The experience was as described. As it was a very hot day the cover on the top of the bus was appreciated. The commentary was informative.
The service was unreliable; we paid for a 48 hour pass and used it just twice, when our intention was to use it as a means of seeing sights around the city. We downloaded the app so we could see the timetable but ended up waiting 40+ minutes at stops only for it not to turn up. Also, it stayed stationary for ages at stops whilst staff tried to encourage tourists to get on, no fun in the heat. I would not recommend based on my experience.
Good way to see the city. We booked a bus tour, which included a boat trip on the river. The Bus tour was lovely, took 45 minutes. However the boats do not leave every hour as advertised. We stood with some others for around 20minutes before we realised the 12 noon boat had been cancelled, noone informed us, despite one of the staff being aware of us waiting, and there was no apology. Highly recommend visit to the bull ring, not to see a fight, but the ring is beautiful. Strongly recommend booking on line in advance of your trip for the cathedral and royal palace, alternatively queue up at the palace very early for tickets (a queue forms quickly). May is the best time to visit Seville to avoid extreme heat.
Rubbish tour. Audio very poor didn’t match the buildings we passed. Missed lots of important stops. Don’t waste your money.
This is not worth doing while the Feria is on due to diversions and gridlocked traffic and the tour operator should have been honest about this. We spent over 90 minutes in either standing traffic or travelling at motorway speeds on the top deck of an open top bus as the driver went round and round the motorway trying to find a rat run to get back to the starting point (not blaming the driver - I felt sorry for him!). We had to abandon the bus nearly 50 minutes walk from the cathedral to make our time slot.
