Heb je een dag om Varanasi te ervaren? Wij maken een programma dat perfect bij jou past! Ons doel is om u een unieke ervaring te bezorgen! Van 's morgens vroeg tot' s avonds laat zijn we uw gastheer, vriend en gids, en samen zullen we de meest emblematische plekken van de stad verkennen en hoeken en steegjes ontdekken die niet in de gidsen voorkomen en andere die niet gemakkelijk toegankelijk zijn voor niet-locals. We zullen dit een onvergetelijke reis maken in de heilige Indiase stad Varanasi! Doe met ons mee!

Voordat de dageraad opkomt, beginnen we onze dag met een boottocht vanaf de belangrijkste en drukste ghat van Varanasi, Dashashwamedh. Je zult je overweldigd voelen door de schoonheid van de zonsopgang en het magische licht dat de historische paleizen en tempels aan de oevers baadt, zeker genietend van het getuige zijn van het lokale leven en het fotograferen van de levendige activiteit, vol kleur en traditie, op de ghats: pelgrims en lokale bevolking het heilige bad nemen, bidden, ceremonie doen, kleren wassen, kletsen. Shadus, Babas… Een geschenk voor de zintuigen!
Nadat ik naar je hotel ben gegaan voor een kort dutje, haal ik je weer op en gaan we verder met het verkennen van Varanasi. We beginnen het tweede deel van de tour bij Manikarnika, waar de dood wordt gevierd. Boven de belangrijkste brandende ghat van Varanasi, een van de heiligste crematieplaatsen langs de rivier de Ganges, van de beste plek om te observeren en te fotograferen, zal ik je in detail uitleggen over de hindoeïstische heilige rituelen van de dood. Van daaruit gaan we naar de oude stad om de kleine en kleurrijke steegjes van het centrum, historische paleizen, heilige tempels, traditionele ashrams, bazaar en lokale markten te ontdekken...
Lunchtijd! het is tijd om weer op krachten te komen na een lange wandeling... Ik zal je een goede plek aanbevelen om een lekkere Indiase maaltijd te proeven of om de beste lassi van de stad te drinken. Als je maag blij wordt, breng ik je per tuk tuk naar onze volgende stop: het traditionele zijde weven. Daar zullen we het moslimgebied verkennen, leren over het zijdeweven, je kunt zien hoe het proces van het maken is en ook de prachtige eindproducten ...
En weer tijd om terug te komen naar de rivier voor een boottocht bij zonsondergang. Licht en ghats in die tijd zijn ook een droom, mensen en activiteiten zijn 's ochtends anders, dus je zult genieten van het lokale leven en fotograferen. Een nieuwe ervaring voor je zintuigen wacht op je!
We sluiten de dag af met een van de meest spectaculaire bezienswaardigheden in Varanasi: de Ganga Aarti-ceremonie. Dit is een goddelijk spiritueel ritueel aan de oevers van de rivier de Ganges. Daar vieren hindoeïstische priesters een mooi en heilig ritueel ter ere van Moeder Ganges, begeleid door lofliederen en omringd door duizenden pelgrims die elke avond van ver komen om de zegen van de Godin te krijgen die volgens haar wordt uitgegoten over elk individu dat daar aanwezig is wanneer het ritueel is voltooid.
