Een van de mooiste begraafplaatsen ter wereld, waar je meer te weten kunt komen over een deel van de geschiedenis van Punta Arenas en haar immigranten.
Beeldhouwwerk ter ere van de bemanning van het schip Goleta Ancúd, dat in 1843 de Straat van Magellan in bezit nam namens de Chileense regering.
Een uniek interactief museum in de regio met exacte replica's van de belangrijkste schepen die werden gebruikt bij de ontdekking van deze verre landen. In dit museum kun je van dichtbij zien hoe de boten er in die jaren uitzagen.
Een monument dat de veeteelt en de inspanningen van het plattelandswerk symboliseert, werk dat essentieel is voor onze regio.
In het midden van het plein staat het monument voor Hernando de Magallanes, die deze verre landen in 1520 ontdekte. We zullen ook de gebouwen rondom het plein bezichtigen en meer te weten komen over hun geschiedenis en belang voor de groei van de stad.

Due to bad weather the tender boats could not dock in the marina, so we could not go ashore at all. Although force majeure only 2/3 of the price was refunded.
This is because it wasn't a cancelation from us, we had to do the tour anyway with a few passengers from the cruise docked at port.
The port was raining and windy and the tenders could not got there. Don’t use this tour company, they would not give us a fulll refund. When you book through Viator, it’s an understanding that when things happen that you have to control over, a refund is issued. NOT THIS COMPANY
Unfortunately your cruise cancel the port the same day 08.00 am. We already have tour guide and driver, We had to do the tour with 2 passengers from the other cruise that could dock at pier that day.
Daniel made our visit delightful and memorable. He went out of his way to accommodate our requirements. His commentary informative and helpful. I am sure that being on a smaller party tour enhanced our experience. Thank you once again.

The tour was kind of ok and we saw what was pointed out. I guess the city doesn’t have too much to offer…or the tour could be better. Gave us an overview of the area. Compared to other reviews … we have been lucky…our tour guide was a better one. Next time I would book something different.

The guide could’ve provided much more information to the guests rather than talking in Spanish to the driver. Command of English was just OK.

We were disappointed in this tour today. It felt like our tour guide was not really a trained professional tour guide. His English was limited and the knowledge of what he was telling us was done in such a way. It was very hard to track what he was saying. We also didn’t get to do some of the things that were on the agenda, like the bird area and the monument to the cattle was not included, but yet he took us to the cemetery, which was a nice addition but failed to tell us it was going to cost an additional $10. He kept asking us what we wanted to do instead of telling us what we were going to do on the tour. All in all, I would say it was not worth the money we pay.
