Verken de bezienswaardigheden van Arashiyama en Fushimi Inari tijdens deze privétour van een hele dag vanuit Osaka. In Arashiyama bezoekt u het UNESCO-werelderfgoed Tenryuji, bekend om zijn prachtige architectuur, prachtige klassieke tuinen en mooie vergezichten. Dan is het op naar het wereldberoemde bamboebosje. Foto tijd! Daarna glijden we weg naar de rustige, ijle omgeving van het landgoed Okochi Sanso voor tuinen, architectuur en een matcha-theepauze. Veel meer te zien en slenteren in Arashimaya voordat we naar de ontzagwekkende, altijd populaire Fushimi Inari gaan, waar duizenden rode poorten ("torii") de berg op snellen. We zullen het hebben over de betekenis en sites terwijl we ons een weg banen langs het heilige pad, maar het is een privétour, dus we gaan alleen zo hoog als je wilt! Hoewel niet inbegrepen, stellen we u graag een lunchpauze voor. Deze tour kan worden aangepast, dus aarzel niet om ons te raadplegen als je iets speciaals in gedachten hebt dat we niet behandelen tijdens de standaard tour.

Binnen dit deel van Kyoto zijn de volgende plaatsen, allemaal hieronder in detail beschreven: Tenryuji, Bamboo Grove, Okochi Sanso. Maar ook, we zullen wat tijd doorbrengen, zoals u dat wenst, een wandeling door de stad zelf, zowel langs de rivier als door het winkelgebied.
De prachtige, beeld-perfecte tuinen zijn zeker zowel verbluft en brengen je een gevoel van sereniteit. Tijdloze schoonheid, ongeacht het seizoen. We krijgen ook uitzicht op de gebedshallen, bemiddelingsgebieden en het bamboebosje (waar we later doorheen lopen).
Je hebt waarschijnlijk deze foto's hiervan gezien en nu mag je er deel van uitmaken. Een smalle weg slingert een zachte heuvel op, met zowel links als rechts zowel bamboe. Een klassieke en niet voor niets.
Hoog boven Arashiyama's beroemde bamboebos ligt het landgoed van deze luxe voormalige acteur, grotendeels gebouwd in de jaren dertig van de vorige eeuw. Je zult genieten van wat macha (Japanse poedervormige groene thee) en een klein snoepje, dan door de tuinen slenteren, genieten van het uitzicht en de indrukwekkende gebouwen bekijken.
We brengen een paar minuten door met rijden en stoppen voor een snelle wandeling en foto's maken in de wijk Gion.
Misschien wel de meest bekende Shinto-schrijn in het land, Fushimi Inari verleidt je ooit hoger op de berg met zijn beroemde rode torii (poorten). Maak je geen zorgen, dit is een privétour, dus we gaan alleen zo hoog als je wilt! Onderweg zullen we het hebben over wat Shintoïsme, de oorspronkelijke religie van Japan, en we zullen naast deze rode torii ook veel belangrijke bezienswaardigheden zien.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen bij elk hotel in het centrum van Osaka, Kyoto of Kobe is gratis inbegrepen. Bijkomende kosten voor andere locaties zijn als volgt (Japanse yen, enkele reis): Haven van Osaka of Hyatt Regency Osaka, 3.250 Yen; Universal Studios-gebied, 3.250 Yen; Voor het ophalen op de luchthaven van Kansai wordt vanwege de afstand en de bijbehorende snelwegtol een extra 15.000 yen gevraagd.

- Tour is geprijsd per groep. Als u 7 tot 9 passagiers bent, dekt de prijsverhoging het grotere voertuig. Zelfs als je minder dan 7 bent, kun je de 7 passagiers kiezen en in het 9-persoonsvoertuig rijden voor extra ruimte.
- Als u uw bagage mee moet nemen naar de tour, kunt u deze tijdens de tour in de koffer achterlaten, afhankelijk van de beperkte ruimte.
- De duur van de transfers is bij benadering, de exacte duur is afhankelijk van het tijdstip van de dag, de verkeersomstandigheden en de gewenste inleverlocatie.
- Het gaat om een gematigde hoeveelheid lopen; comfortabele wandelschoenen worden aanbevolen.
- Volgens de Japanse wet MOETEN kinderen jonger dan 6 jaar of kleiner dan 140 cm autostoeltjes gebruiken. Vraag er indien nodig vooraf een aan bij ons.
- Geniet van alle spannende stops die hierboven zijn beschreven en meer tijdens deze privévoertuigtour! Het beschreven plan is een modelbaan en er is mogelijkheid tot verandering op basis van de interesses van onze gasten. Timing en externe factoren (zoals verkeersomstandigheden) kunnen afwijkingen van dit modelparcours forceren.

The tour was very nice and Hugo was very informative of all the sights we visited. He thought we had more time, but was able to adjust the pace and still get us back to the ship on time.

We were on a Siversea cruise where one of the included tours in Osaka was to take one to Kyoto Station and return 5 hours later. We were both suffering from back problems so long walks and jostling on public transport was not right for us. The cost of a car with guide for 4 hours was eye watering. I searched the internet and found a guide who referred me to another guide. Our driver and guide was Hiroshi Oshima from Kyoto Limo Service. Hiro was great, we had some glitches at the start as I had problems with my phone. Eventually we connected and we saw everything we wanted to and Hiro showed us more on the way. His English is excellent and his explanations were interesting. It was also much cheaper than the ship's offering. We can highly recommend Hiro.

We had an absolutely fantastic time with Thomas on our Kyoto tour. The shrine and zen garden were absolutely beautiful. Had a nice lunch in town and could explore the interesting shops. Explored Gion which was really beautiful and then loved the walk through the Torii gates. Thomas was a fantastic guide. We had such a wonderful time on this tour! Our guide Tomas (sp?) was friendly and spoke perfect English. He showed us several of the main tourist sites in Kyoto and shared stories about the city as we traveled between them. He was quick to jump in to offer to take our pictures throughout the day. He was very flexible and compassionate about dealing with our various mobility challenges and did his best to minimize the amount of walking we needed to do. We started the day a bit concerned since it was cold and rainy, plus we knew there would be large crowds due to the local spring break. However our fears were misplaced because we had a wonderful time. The day is a treasured memory of our time in Japan!

Pinpoint traveler really had their game on for this tour! Great, continuous upfront communications once the tour was booked and the day of the tour, our tour guide took ill. Pinpoint travel (Kristi) was all over it, regrouping their resources, communicating to us as well as the hotel to ensure that the delay was communicated and all in it was like a 30-minute delay. Our guide showed up, ready to rock and off we went. We had book this tour in hopes of catching the fall colors as well as the many attractions in Kyoto and nothing disappointed. Our guide was highly knowledgeable, had incredible insight on paths better taken to avoid the crowds and still see all the many wonders that were on the list to visit. The fall colors were in full bloom and gave the awe-inspiring tour and extra bit more love to an amazing adventure.
