Ophalen bij hotel in Bangkok (behalve hotel rond luchthavens) om 08:00 uur. Transfer om het Grand Palace en de Tempel van de Smaragdgroene Boeddha te bezoeken. Verken het magnifieke Grote Paleis en de Tempel van de Smaragdgroene Boeddha, de residentie en de koninklijke kapel van Thaise koningen sinds 1782 na Christus. Belangrijke notitie : * Kleed u alstublieft correct als u het Grand Palace en de tempels bezoekt. Mouwloze shirts, sjaals, korte broeken, leggings of gescheurde broeken zijn niet toegestaan.
Ga verder met een bezoek aan Wat Arun of de Tempel van de Dageraad per boot. Bezoek de beroemde bezienswaardigheid en een van de 1e klas koninklijke tempels in Bangkok. Loop rond de tempel, waar je wat geschiedenis kunt leren en misschien een kans hebt om de boeddhistische monnik te ontmoeten om bij een bepaalde gelegenheid persoonlijk een zegen te ontvangen.
Neem een optionele lunch in een lokaal restaurant. En bezoek dan Wat Pho (Tempel van Liggende Boeddha), de 1e klas koninklijke tempel en een school voor Thaise massage. Het hoogtepunt van deze tempel is de mooiste liggende boeddha die 46 meter lang is en de stenen inscriptie toonde de kennis van de traditionele Thaise medische wetenschap. Deze tempel wordt beschouwd als de eerste openbare universiteit van Thailand. Optioneel om Thaise massage in de tempel te proberen (niet aanbevolen voor mensen met botproblemen of hypertensie)
Transfer naar de Gouden Boeddhatempel (Wat Trai Mitr). De beroemde tempel waar je het echte massief gouden Boeddhabeeld kunt bekijken, weegt 5,5 ton en is 250 miljoen dollar waard. Keer terug naar het hotel in Bangkok met het openbaar vervoer of privévervoer (afhankelijk van de geselecteerde optie)

We had a wonderful private city tour with Aye as our guide. She was very friendly and shared a wealth of knowledge about Bangkok. She promptly picked us up from our hotel and showed us around. It was a great way to see the highlights without feeling rushed particularly if you only have a few days in Bangkok.

This was an Exceptional tour of the most important Buddhist temples around Bangkok and the extensive Royal Thai Palace grounds. Aye was an incredibly informative and friendly tour guide who made our day in Bangkok truly memorable. She took us first to the beautiful flower market, where we had the unique experience of unfolding a lotus flower by hand. After that, she guided us through some of Thailand’s most iconic temples, explaining their history with clarity and enthusiasm. Her energy, patience, and kindness made the entire experience feel personal and meaningful. Our driver, O, was also exceptionally professional throughout the tour. He drove safely, kept the car spotless, and always made sure we were comfortable between stops. His calm and courteous demeanor added an extra level of comfort to the day.
