Ervaar de sensatie van het rijden in een van Alaska's oudste vormen van vervoer! De hondenslee! Steden, dorpen en levensstijlen werden gecreëerd met behulp van de traditionele stijl honden die u zult ontmoeten tijdens uw tour. Leer over de rijke geschiedenis van Chatanika van een van onze gidsen terwijl u door een prachtig boreal bos reist. We hebben slechts 2 tour slots per dag om elke groep ruim de tijd te geven. Dit is een klein familiebedrijf en u wordt hier de hele tijd begroet en begeleid door een Eigenaar. We doen accomidate gezinnen / grote groepen en individuele reizigers! Voor groepsgrootte aanvragen van meer dan 6 gasten kunt u rechtstreeks contact opnemen met Howling Bay Kennel via hun website. Onze gewichtslimiet per gast is 225lbs gekleed. Als u de gewichtslimiet overschrijdt, maar voldoet aan de fysieke vereisten en comfortabel kunt deelnemen, kunnen we u mogelijk als enkele rijder tegemoetkomen tegen dubbele boekingskosten. Geniet van een rit met een hondenslee door een schilderachtig besneeuwd bos. Bij aankomst verzekeren wij uw uitrusting in uitrusting. De honden staan te popelen om te gaan en we zullen opstijgen voor een slederit van ongeveer 45 minuten. We zullen dan tijd besteden aan het bedanken van onze liefhebbende metgezellen, foto's voor je maken, gevolgd door tijd om te aaien en van de honden hier te houden, inclusief onze puppy's! Na afloop opwarmen met een kop warme chocolademelk in onze geodetische koepel! Neem zeker contact op voor uw exacte starttijd.

Great small group dog sledding experience. Beautiful scenery and friendly Alaskan dogs. We got the chance to take turns on the sleds , both sitting and also steering the extra sled. Highly recommended!
We had the most amazing experience as a family. We went on our sled ride and then had the opportunity to meet the dogs and their friends, give them some love and ask lots of questions. My 5year old had the best time as did we bigger kids- the parents. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Great host! They went out of their way to help us get to know the dogs and even let us drive! Unique experience:-) Awesome dogs! We enjoyed the run! No crowds, calm, beautiful scenery through the forest.
Great tour. Tabatha was friendly, sociable. And very informative, teaching us a lot about the dog sleds. Was also very accommodating, changing the tour time so that the weather wasn't too cold. The dogs we so cute and friendly.
These are incredibly beautiful and friendly dogs!Super friendly guides and beautiful forested rides. Dress warm and use foot and hand warmers (get these at walmart or amazon). There is a short hike in one section and your feet will get cold if its really cold out. Plan on taking some extra time to give lots of attention to these beautiful loving creatures!
I booked and paid for a dogsledding tour more than a month in advance. The day before, they changed the arrival time, and on the day of the tour, they canceled without any explanation. It has been over 7 business days and I still haven’t received my refund. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable service. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.
Greetings, my apologies that your tour was canceled and you did not get to experience this. We try our best to make accommodations for our guests based on the weather and trail conditions. If a tour operator makes multiple attempts by phone call, text messaging or email to contact you directly over the course of a number of days with no acknowledgement or response back, and there is a major shift in our operations- a cancelation with refund is the result. When you book through an online platform and not directly through the tour operator, you are at the mercy of their refund processes which may take extended times. We have no control of that to assist unfortunately. Please contact Viator directly for assistance. As far as professionalism is concerned, multiple attempts are made to make sure guests are comfortable and get to experience this adventure safely.
Probably the best dog mushing experience I could have. The staff were so friendly, knowledgable, and down to earth! The fluffy dogs were the best part. They were so sweet and cuter than a lot of other mushing experiences I saw. I highly recommend this business 1000% and this experience was one of the best parts of our Fairbanks trip.
Guides and dogs are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and their craft. It was a wonderful and seamless experience from beginning to end. If you have the time, I highly recommend booking a dog sled tour!!

We had so much fun on this adventure! Tabitha shared lots of good information about the homestead and mushing life. We all got opportunities to try riding on and driving the sleds. The trail was beautiful, and bonus even historic. Afterwards, photo ops, dog petting and delicious hot chocolate served up by a delightful "chef" and mushing assistant.
