Dit is geen opgepoetste studio of een toeristische demo, het is een echte IstDit is geen studio of een demonstratiekeuken. Het is een huis in Tesvikiye, met een echt fornuis, echte familie recepten, en een gastheer die vroeger professioneel kookte, maar nu kookt voor de liefde ervan. Esra's achtergrond betekent dat je zowel de techniek als de warmte krijgt; iemand die precies weet waarom een gerecht werkt, en ook waarom het ertoe doet. Kleine groepen alleen, zodat elke gast krijgt echte aandacht en de tafel voelt nooit vol.

Best cooking class! Had a great time, felt very welcomed into Esra’s home
Amazing experience, was made to feel super comfortable and at home. Delish foods and got to make so many different traditional Turkish meals. Tour Guide (Esra) was absolutely lovely and i would 100% do this again.
Highly recommend this cooking class! You get to make, try and experience a lot of traditional Turkish meals. All was delicious and she is fantastic at her job.

I had the best time making a Turkish dish with our host Esrati! We made delicious dolmas and stuffed peppers, a cold yogurt soup with chickpeas and herbs, as well as a classic cucumber/tomato/onion salad! We had a lovely tea and Turkish coffee after dinner! I would definitely recommend booking as we felt so welcomed from the start and the experience was overall was so fun and wholesome!
Overall experience was better than I could have imagined. We made more food than we could eat and had the best time talking with Esra! She is such a delight!

This has been a highlight of my trip! We had the most amazing experience cooking up traditional foods and enjoying our meal together at the end. From start to finish we were welcomed into the home and the food was DELICIOUS!! Cannot recommend this enough.
I cannot recommend the cooking class with Esra enough!! My favorite thing that I did during my time in Istanbul. I loved getting to experience culture and cooking from a local. Esra is funny and kind and speaks great English. If you're going to do one thing in Istanbul let it be this class!!
