Neem deel aan een fietstocht met een kleine groep door het platteland van Hoi An om de lokale bevolking te ontmoeten, meer te weten te komen over het dorpsleven en de levende tradities van Vietnam te ervaren tussen kokospalmen en rijstvelden. • Kleine groepsrondleiding van niet meer dan 8 gasten voor een ontspannen en veilige ervaring. • Fiets langs rijstvelden, kanalen en kokospalmen diep in het platteland. • Bezoek een lokaal huis en leer over de unieke erfgoedkapellen van Hoi An. • Probeer bánh bèo rijstkoeken en proef authentieke rijstwijn bij een familiedistilleerderij. • Kijk hoe bootbouwers en matwevers de tradities van Hoi An levend houden.

Ontmoet onze Tour Gids bij Discova Day Tour Shop voordat de tour begint. Uw Gids zal uw fiets monteren, een veiligheidsbriefing geven en een overzicht geven van de tour.
De rit opent al snel naar rustige plattelandswegen omzoomd met kokospalmen en moestuinen, waar de lokale bevolking op de fiets naar de velden gaat. Onderweg deelt uw Gids verhalen over het dorpsleven en legt uit hoe deze gemeenschappen traditie in balans blijven brengen met de veranderingen die het toerisme met zich meebrengt.
Onze eerste stop is een kleine familiekeuken, waar bánh bèo (gestoomde rijstkoekjes) volgens de traditionele methode worden bereid voor het ontbijt. Het is een eenvoudig, heerlijk inzicht in het dagelijks leven op het platteland voordat we verder rijden naar een van de mooiste dorpen van Hoi An, waar we stoppen bij een familiehuis om de traditie van familiekapellen te leren kennen. Vanaf hier volgt de route kleine grachten en waterwegen richting een houten botenbouwplaats. Visserij blijft de levensader van de provincie, en de aanblik van ambachtslieden die rompen met de hand vormen is een hoogtepunt voor fotografen. Als de timing goed is, zie je ook gezinnen die aan de kust hun visnetten schoonmaken tussen de reizen op zee door.
Onze laatste stop is een door een familie gerunde distilleerderij waar rijstwijn nog steeds op dezelfde manier wordt gemaakt als al generaties lang. Je bent van harte welkom om een glas te proeven, of voor de avontuurlijke, probeer de sterkere lokale versie doordrenkt met kruiden! Daarna is het tijd om terug te rijden naar Hoi An.

Tam was an amazing tour guide! We had the best time exploring and learning more about Vietnamese culture. The bikes were perfectly fitted for the ride and the ride suited everyone's ability. Tam explained everything clearly and tailored the tour uniquely to our group which was perfect! Along the way we got to see so many new sights and meet so many lovely locals who made our experience even better! The tour was interactive which kept everyone involved, we had so much fun! Overall we had the best time and we couldn't have done it without our tour guide tam. Tam is the best!!!
Than our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the countryside and its deep history. He was professional and always had safety first as we navigated the streets of Hoi An, crossed bridges and cycled country paths and roads. I would highly recommend Than as a guide. What a fun and memorable bicycle tour of the Hoi A countryside. Our guide Linh was exceptional and knowledgeable and kept us together at leisurely pace. Lots of breaks and great to be off the beaten path past rice fields and various farms. my 13 yr old son and I learned so much about the region and culture, making rice noodles, weaving basket mats, and even various types of rice wine. 5 stars and recommend this as a way to see and explore by bicycle

Had such an amazing time, the guides are lovely, the places they take you are very memorable and definetly worth it to get out of the busy tourist area, they show you the amazing countryside along with the buffalos, rice paper making, weaving and where they make the happy water which you get to taste, our guide was mike he was great to chat with!
