We verlaten Hobart in oostelijke richting en volgen de kustlijn naar het noorden. We reizen door de badplaatsen Orford en Swansea op weg naar Freycinet National Park. Freycinet is een van de eerste nationale parken van Tasmanië, beroemd om zijn rijke en adembenemende kustlandschappen. Pink Granite Mountains vormen het decor voor afgelegen baaien, ongerepte wateren, witte zandstranden, lokale fauna en geweldige wandelpaden.
We lopen als groep naar de Wineglass Bay Lookout; dit is een gematigde wandeling bergopwaarts van ongeveer 45 minuten. Eenmaal op de top wordt u beloond met dat wereldberoemde uitzicht op Wineglass Bay en het prachtige Freycinet National Park. Geniet van het moment, geniet van het uitzicht en laat onze gidsen je helpen met die gewilde foto's. De wandeling naar Wineglass Bay Lookout is een van de Great Short Walks of Tasmania en vereist een goede mobiliteit en voldoende conditie. Het is 1,3 km bergopwaarts, voordat u weer bergafwaarts gaat.
Vanaf de Lookout heb je de mogelijkheid om terug te keren naar het begin van de wandeling met onze gids, of voor de enthousiaste wandelaars kun je ervoor kiezen om de rest van je tijd te besteden aan het voltooien van de wandeling naar het strand van Wineglass Bay. Wineglass Bay Beach Walk - Dit is een terugwandeling van 2,5 uur en een goede conditie is vereist. Onze tour heeft voldoende tijd om de volledige wandeling naar Wineglass Bay Beach te doen en terug te keren. Eenmaal op het strand kunt u genieten van uw lunch in deze prachtige omgeving, in het ongerepte water springen om te zwemmen of over het witte zand dwalen. Dit is een van de meest lonende wandelingen in Tasmanië naar een prachtige locatie.
Als u liever de kortere wandeloptie selecteert, keren we terug van de Lookout met onze gids en verkennen andere delen van Freycinet National Park. We bezoeken de prachtige Honeymoon Bay en genieten van onze lunch terwijl we genieten van het landschap.
We bezoeken de spectaculaire vuurtoren van Cape Tourville en genieten van de gemakkelijke wandeling, een van de Great Short Walks van Tasmanië, beroemd om zijn adembenemende uitzichten op het schiereiland Freycinet.
We hergroeperen ons klaar voor de terugreis. Onze laatste stop aan de oostkust is de prachtige Devil's Corner Winery, waar je tijd hebt om van het magnifieke uitzicht te genieten. Ter plaatse kunt u genieten van een wijnproeverij, pizza uit de houtoven, verse zeevruchten en oesters van Freycinet Marine Farm en ijsjes, allemaal op eigen kosten verkrijgbaar op de dag zelf.

We had the best time! Our guide Hannah was so informative, patient and very helpful guiding us through all of our walks. All the spots are very beautiful and honestly the trip feels like a dream! Highly recommended for anyone that loves nature!
The view is very nice, amazing and wonderful. The lookout is fastastic and the beach is beautiful. Picnic near beach is good.
A lot of driving, but the destinations were worth the time. Our guide was very patient and tailored the walking to the level of the group. Plenty of 'information stops' along the way, and lots of time to take in the panoramic vistas. My highlight was the lunch stop at Honeymoon Bay - truly beautiful.
The hike to Wineglass bay look out and beach was splendid and the views were spectacular.Our tour guide Clinton was friendly, Funny and Knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Ready to board the bus to go to WineglassBay and Frecinct National Park but told i cannot go because I had a wheelchair. I can get on and off the bus with my crutches but didn't give me a chance. ... Spoke to manager on the phone and she was quite cold and not interested in my situation. We have been on approx 9 tours over the past 11 days, and on all tours i have been allowed to get on and off both bus and boats on my own. Very disappointed so I had to go back to my.motel unit and spend the day on my own. I hope your manager never has to be in a wheelchair to see how people treat you sometimes.

We were communicating with you through the tour guide's phone, and our guide needed to continue the pick-up route as many guests were waiting ahead of the 11-hour day. We apologise if our communication came across as businesslike, it was intended to be clear and efficient given the circumstances, not dismissive of your situation. We'd also gently note that the other tours in your holiday package were operated through Gray Line. These are luxury sightseeing coach experiences and are quite different in nature to our active day tours, in vehicle, terrain, and the physical demands of the day. This was a fantastic hike but not for the faint hearted 😀 It will definitely test your fitness, but the views are totally worth it. Wineglass Bay Beach is gorgeous 😍
Great day but lots of walking so do not ignore recommendation for water and good shoes 👟 and offer a helping hand to those slower than you
This was such a cool day trip. Matt made sure we had the right information and highlights at all of the stops. This National Park is truly a gem of Tasmania.
