Uw reis begint met een eerste stop bij de basiliek van de Notre-Dame van Saigon en u zult veel foto's maken in deze prachtige kerk. Het is de meest indrukwekkende kathedraal in Vietnam. Gemodelleerd naar de Notre-Dame de Paris en gebouwd met materialen die zijn overgebracht vanuit Frankrijk, de kathedraal is het religieuze centrum voor de 6,2 miljoen katholieken in Vietnam.
De volgende stop is bij het centrale postkantoor van Saigon. Het is een van de meest iconische Instagrambare bestemmingen in Ho Chi Minh-stad. Met de charmante koloniale architectuur en sierlijke decoraties is het een perfecte plek voor uw foto's op sociale media. Bovendien is het een prachtig overblijfsel van het ingewikkelde verleden van Vietnam. Als je op zoek bent naar een plek op Instagram met de geweldige architectuur, is dit zeker de plek om het te doen.
De Tan Dinh-kerk of de beroemde ROZE kerk is een van de meest ondergewaardeerde bezienswaardigheden in de stad. De intense kleur is moeilijk te missen en het interieur is net zo verbluffend. Tijdens de wederopbouw van Tan Dinh in 1929 versierden de rijke parochiaan Francois Haasz en zijn Vietnamese vrouw de binnenkant royaal met Italiaans marmer, waardoor een rijk, elegant gevoel ontstond. Om een historische dimensie aan Tan Dinh toe te voegen, is de stichter van de kerk, pater Donatien Eveillard, begraven onder het schip.
Op de volgende bestemming nemen we je mee naar een Hidden Weapons Bunker die je nergens anders in Saigon kunt vinden. Je kunt echte wapens oppakken en uitchecken die tijdens de Vietnam-oorlog zijn gebruikt.
Het stadhuis is een architectonisch meesterwerk voltooid in 1908 en functioneert nog steeds als een regeringskantoor, dus je kunt niet naar binnen gaan. Toch kun je de schoonheid van de structuur van buitenaf waarderen, omdat het opdoemt aan het noordelijke uiteinde van de voetgangersstraat, Nguyen Hue. De crème en gele structuur worden 's nachts verlicht met schijnwerpers en is een spectaculair gezicht, ook een perfecte plek voor Instagram-foto's gedurende de dag.
Krijg een perfect uitzicht op de Bitexco Financial Tower terwijl je door Nguyen Hue Street loopt en het is absoluut een Instagrambare plek.
Minh Dang Quang Pagoda is een van de grootste tempels in Ho Chi Minh-stad, opgericht door de Mendicant Buddhist Order, een van de grootste boeddhistische sekten in het zuiden van Vietnam. De centrale achthoekige tempel met een lotusbloem werd ontworpen in traditionele Chinese architecturale stijl.

De tunnels van Củ Chi zijn een immens netwerk van verbindingstunnels in het Củ Chi-district van Ho Chi Minh-stad, Vietnam, en maken deel uit van een veel groter netwerk van tunnels dat ten grondslag ligt aan een groot deel van het land. De Củ Chi-tunnels waren de locatie van verschillende militaire campagnes tijdens de oorlog in Vietnam en waren de uitvalsbasis van de Vietcong voor het Tết-offensief in 1968.
Het War Remnants Museum is een oorlogsmuseum op 28 Vo Van Tan, in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Het bevat exposities met betrekking tot de Eerste Indochinese Oorlog en de Vietnamoorlog.
Bitexco Financial Tower is een wolkenkrabber in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Bij de voltooiing in 2010 werd het het hoogste gebouw in Vietnam en behield deze status tot januari 2011, toen het werd overtroffen door de Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower. Met 68 verdiepingen boven de grond en drie kelders heeft het gebouw een hoogte van 262,5 meter, waarmee het vanaf begin 2018 het op een na hoogste gebouw in de stad is, het vijfde hoogste in Vietnam en het 263e hoogste ter wereld.

De Tân Định-kerk is een rooms-katholieke kerk in Ho Chi Minh-stad, Vietnam. De formele naam is de Kerk van het Heilig Hart van Jezus. Hoewel het in District 3 ligt, deelt de parochie haar naam met de aangrenzende wijk Tân Định in District 1. Het werd gebouwd tijdens de Franse koloniale periode in de jaren 1870 en voltooid op 16 december 1876, toen Vietnam deel uitmaakte van Frans Indochina.

Took this tour yesterday as a solo traveler on my first day in Vietnam. Pros: -clean, air conditioned vehicle -tour guide /driver nice, provided great communication the day before with the guide and months before with the company. -driver and guide arrived on time -lunch spot at a vegan/vegetarian restaurant was a solid pick and had delicious food -cold tea at cafe (orange lavender peach tea) was amazing (since I couldn’t drink the coffee w/ milk as there were no substitutions with nondairy milks) -guide was respectful and if I opted out of doing something there was no push to do it -bottle of water provided Cons: -45 minutes wasted waiting outside/inside a hotel lobby because the tour guide left his phone in the vehicle with the driver. The problem would’ve been resolved faster had the tour guide used my phone, as I offered to him, to contact the company via WhatsApp group chat informing them of the issue so they could contact the driver. This was only done by the tour guide AFTER the time passed. Initially the guide had us outside waiting but I told him it was too hot and I needed AC so we went into a hotel lobby. -I don’t know if the tour guide was new or if this is normal, but I felt like after lunch, there was not much information given as before. A few sentences here and there, unless I had questions to facilitate more conversation, but more silence and observation at the sights towards the end of the tour. -while the sights were nice/cool to see more could be provided (more stops) Overall, I think this tour was overpriced for what I received even more for the dilemma that went long than necessary and cut int the time of the tour I paid for (even more as a solo traveler). I chose forever vacation for this tour because I was extremely pleased with their instagram tour in Bali which I highly recommend as it is amazing and 100% better than what I experienced on this tour. However for this instagram tour in Ho Chi Minh City I do not recommend but suggest improvement to match the energy of the advertised video/pictures.

It was great! Time flew. Duong was very pleasant to talk to during the tour. He is very knowledgable about Vietnam. You can ask him anything you need to know about the country and he will be able to answer. For future tours, I would suggest adding more places to see. There are several buildings (smaller pagodas, other parcs) or authentic vietnamese streets we passed by that we would have had time to see in the 6 hours.

I had a great time with Daniel in HCMC. The ForeverVacation team was very accommodating of my requests even though my booking was pretty last minute. They were able to curate my tour based on my preferences and were flexible about the itinerary and the schedule. They weren’t pushy at all. Daniel was a great guide. He was very considerate of my needs (I was sweating like a pig and kept complaining about being too hot (^O^) ) so he would take me to cafes or places with air conditioning. I was able to see everything I wanted at a leisurely pace. Although we had a busy itinerary, it didn’t feel overwhelming at all. It was also great having Daniel around so I wouldn’t get ripped off by some of the sellers. I will definitely go on another tour with ForeverVacation when I’m back in Vietnam.

Fabulous sightseeing and far away from many crowds. Duong my host really knew the best places to go for great photos, telling me all about the history along the way. He even took me to a great vegetarian restaurant. I learned a lot about the architecture and the famous moments in history from which they’re known. Having an aircon vehicle was super important as it gets HOT! So take it slowly walking around, and get back into the aircon whenever you like as it’s at your pace. Thank you for a memorable time :)

My wife and I went for this tour as a part of celebrating our wedding anniversary. The team contacted me well in advance to keep me posted of the schedule and customize our tour. Despite the heat we ended up enjoying the tour of HCMC while getting great shots. Duong was great. His knowledge of history was very good. He even took most of the pics for us. Highly recommended !

Our tour guides Duong, Janie, Ben and Dhea were absolutely amazing. The tour was super informative which was great and the locations were beautiful. The car was clean and air conditioned.
