DE BESTE HISTORISCHE ERVARING IN SANTO DOMINGO! - Onze tour begint met een ontmoeting in de lobby van uw hotel of startpunt, gecoördineerd met onze operator om onze tour door de stad te beginnen. - Het eerste bezoekpunt zijn de grotten van de drie ogen, waar ze onder begeleiding van onze gids ondergronds zullen klimmen. - We stoppen bij de colon-vuurtoren om foto's te maken van deze attractie, ingehuldigd door paus Johannes Paulus 2. - We zullen het presidentieel paleis bezoeken, evenals plaatsen en plaatsen in de moderne stad van het land. - We komen aan in de koloniale zone waar ze plaatsen zullen bezoeken zoals: het Alcazar de Colon, het nationale pantheon, de primaire kathedraal van Amerika, het Dominicus-klooster, Las Damas Street, het Amber Museum. - Daarna pauzeren we voor een typisch Dominicaanse lunch in het gezelschap van een plaats met een bezoek en geschiedenis van de lokale bevolking. - En tot slot bezoeken we de typische winkel met lokale producten - Later maken we uw terugkeer naar uw hotel.

Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je hotel, wordt de eerste stop gemaakt in het Nationaal Park van de 3 Ogen, waar we onze ontmoeting zullen hebben met onze nationale gids. Waar we afdalen naar deze prachtige ondergrondse grotten met 3 meren en verborgen natuur die in de koloniale tijd dienden als een inheems toevluchtsoord
We zullen een stop maken bij dit monument dat in 1592 werd ingehuldigd door paus Johannes Paulus II, ter viering van de 500ste verjaardag van de ontdekking van Amerika, geruchten zeggen dat de rest van admiraal Christopher Columbus daar is.
We bezoeken het presidentiële paleis waar we de gelegenheid hebben om foto's te maken met de presidentiële escorte en we zullen ook een wandeling maken over de presidentiële plaquettes waar je het verplichte traject van de Dominicaanse Republiek kunt zien.
We beginnen aan een wandeling door de koloniale stad waar we de belangrijkste kathedraal van Amerika zullen betreden. Het werd gebouwd onder het mandaat van paus Julius II in 1512. Het was het hoofdkwartier van het belangrijkste katholicisme van Amerika.
Dit mauseleum is de plaats waar de heldhaftige karakters die de Dominicaanse geschiedenis vormden rusten, waar je de uitleg van je gids krijgt over elk pantheon en feit dat historisch de bevolking van de Dominicaanse Republiek markeerde.
Deze plaats was de plaats van het mandaat van onderkoning Diego Colon die werd gebouwd in 1514, deze plaats is de meest prominente plaats in de koloniale stad vanwege het gebouw in gotische stijl en dat geeft een prachtig uitzicht op het fort eromheen.
Deze plek laat je verblinden door de helderheid van de kostbare stukjes barnsteen die zichtbaar zijn in ongelooflijke stukjes steen die gemaakt zijn van natuurlijke bomen, en zal de geschiedenis en de uitwerking ervan verifiëren.

The "guide" was rather a driver as he gave us nothing of relevant information. We really liked the 3-eye park but the guide just waits outside and doesn't explain anything. All other attractions were closed for Monday. We find it very unfair that they didn't tell us that Mondays were all closed. Very very bad food. They take you to a buffet type and the food is really lousy. We learned very very little on this tour as the guide did not explain anything. Of the worst tours I've ever had the truth:(
Jesus (tour guide) and Hector( driver) were very friendly and helpful. They have a nice sense of humor. It was a very informative tour about the history of the city!
This was a wonderful tour, with lots of interesting history and places. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you to Pabell, who was a wonderful guide.
The tour itself was great. Just 2 of us, and a funny, knowledgeable Andrecito (the guide). Lunch was at a nice place, although the food could’ve been hotter, it was fresh. We had a on time pickup at the hotel, but we did not get picked up after lunch. We had to take an uber. In all fairness, the tour operator refunded us for the uber to the hotel. All in all, a good tour with a couple of fixed hiccups. No regrets.

Me and my wife decided to do this package that is "Historical tour of Santo Domingo and 3 eyes caves with lunch", we booked our ticket on line on Saturday for Sunday tour. We got confirmation, and our tickets via email and text. Sunday, our tour is suppose to start at 11am, and no one showed up, so at 11:30amd I called the tour operator, who seemed unaware of my request but after some conversations, he did confirm my tour iternary and assured me that he will call me back. After waiting for 10 minutes, I get a call from some unknow person who said he was tour guide and needed my pick up address?????, I was surprised, because my pick up address was my hotel address and it was on my tickets!!!!!, than he mention , he was the driver, I felt uncomfortable and hanged up the phone. Couple minutes later tour operator called and ask for my pick up address!!!! he wanted me to text him, which i did and he also wanted me to text to person who called earlier and his name was Luis. I am totally shocked with this whole situation!!!!!! At 12:15pm Luis comes with a 4 door sedan (extremely polite person) and asked me where do I want to go!!!!! I told him, I have an ITERNARY of A TOUR THAT I HAD BOOKED and you don't know??....he called tour operator who explained him, so we went to 3 eyes cave and than he drove us to Colonial Plaza. Luis explained a lot of history and walked with us, later he said , that operator said it was 4pm so lunch is CANCELLED!!!!!!! What a JOKE!!!!! We walked around more and than dropped us back at hotel at 6pm. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of driver who was nice and honestly did his job, operator, should refund us on delaying and wasting my time, not providing according to what we paid for. You can do this tour yourself by Uber and Colonial Plaza has a good museum that can explain history about the whole area (opens 9am to 8pm) in all languages for 300 pesos/person and we paid US$99/person.
Our tour guide was very informative. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional! The tour it self was sorta face paced or at least for us (two people). But it was perfect. Kept you moving but still able to enjoy and take pictures! Great experience!
Horrible driver- came 1.5 hr too late for pick up. Decided to combine drop off with some other guests. We could choce join them or wait for at least 1 hr in the rain. Great guide. Happy we went in the end...
Caves were amazing! The tour of the city was fun and the lunch delicious! Our guide took the time to explain everything, gave us enough time to explore and shop. Our driver was on time and very pleasant. Glad we did it - definitely worth it!
Tour was fantastic. Very informative and was a pleasure to be around. Francisco also had a great sense of humor during the tour that made us feel very welcome.
