De historische koninklijke tour neemt je mee op reis, langs historische kastelen en paleizen in Noord-Holland, Utrecht en Gelderland. Weg van de drukke Amsterdamse stad wordt u eerst naar het prachtige en grootse 'Paleis Het Loo' gebracht (75 - 90 minuten rijden). Dit 17e-eeuwse zomerpaleis werd gerenoveerd en heropend in 2022. U kunt het Paleis, de Tuin en de Stallen bezoeken (entreegelden inbegrepen). Gevolgd door het verkennen van de minder bekende privé kastelen in de regio Baarn (op basis van beschikbare tijd). Deze omvatten DE Kasteel Groeneveld (tuin/omgeving), Kasteel De Hooge Vuursche (uitzicht van buitenaf), Kasteel Sloterdijk (uitzicht van buitenaf), en nog enkele andere. Tot slot bezoeken we het 13e-eeuwse kasteel Muiderslot. U kunt van buitenaf genieten van het uitzicht op het kasteel, en als u wilt, kunt u het kasteel betreden tegen een vergoeding van €19 per persoon. Rij terug naar het hotel in Amsterdam.

Meet & Greet Amsterdam. We ontmoeten u in uw hotel/verblijfplaats in Amsterdam. We geven een korte introductie over de route (15 minuten). Na de briefing rijden we naar onze eerste locatie 'Kasteel Muiderslot' (ongeveer 45 minuten).
Het hoogtepunt van ons bezoek. Het 330 jaar oude paleis is inmiddels volledig gerenoveerd en vanaf 2022 open voor publiek. De geschiedenis van Paleis Het Loo gaat terug tot de 17e eeuw en is waarschijnlijk het meest grootse paleis van het land. We zullen het weelderige paleis, de tuinen en de koninklijke voertuigen verkennen
Kasteel Muiderslot (Drive By): Het kasteel is een van de oudste en best bewaarde kastelen van Nederland. Het kasteel kijkt uit over de rivier de Vecht en wat ooit de Nederlandse Zuidzee was en werd 700 jaar geleden gebouwd. Het kasteel werd volledig gerenoveerd door de beroemde architect Pierre Cuypers, die achter het Rijksmuseum en het Amsterdam Centraal Station stond. Een must-visit als je Nederland bezoekt. Door de entreegelden direct te betalen (€ 15,- p.p.) kun je het kasteel van binnenuit verkennen.
We rijden terug naar Amsterdam en je wordt teruggebracht naar je hotel.

The Palais Is kept remarkably well, inside and outside too. It takes about 4 hours to visit everything: we loved to walk till the lake and we appreciated the silence and the full immersion in the nature. The gardens are amazing and all the furniture and the regal belongings are very well preserved. Do not forget to take a look at the regal cars and slides. The restrooms for the visitors are astonishingly clean!
Disappointed with Gopi, the guide, tour is listed as customizable, but he was very rigid with the itinerary he wanted to provide, was a little rude when we asked if we could trade for something different. In addition to the fact that we booked a year ago at a lower price and he messaged us a week before the trip telling us that we needed to change to a different tour because the vehicle for the other tour wasn’t large enough for four adults, however, the new tour he had us book still required him to rent a car but he rented a small car that did not comfortably fit 4 adults. ( but cost us $300 more ) Very disappointing.
Ms. Dagne. I have led this tour more than 50 times, earning 5-star reviews from over 15 clients. We even got a badge of excellence from Viator. We both know what you mentioned is not true. I did customize the tour and took you to a windmill as requested. This was not part of the itinerary. The windmill was located in a lovely village and was unknown to most tourists. I did rent an SUV without charging you any extra fee. Cars in Europe are smaller, and I will be happy to share the bill from the rental company. I paid over €200 for this rental. The original tour you booked was meant for a family with kids. However, all 4 of you were adults, so I clarified by messaging you. I still mentioned that I am OK to continue with the original tour, but you cancelled it. I hope you all still had a good time and had some fun memories from the day.
Beautiful palace and castle. When we arrived at Palais het Loo we stopped at the stables and saw gorgeous Friesian horses hooked up to a lovely carriage. The gardens were wonderful as well as the Palais.
Well rounded tour. Very easy going. He had excellent areas to visit he still however always tried his best to get to spots you requested time dependent
Gopinath was amazing. Communication in advance was great. He showed up on time. Car was very clean. He managed all the details. We just rode along (and even napped a bit). The renovated palace & exhibits were amazing. And the medieval castle too. He showed us around with personal commentary and we did the audio tours too. All-around a great day! Thank you!

This was a fantastic tour! Good was knowledgeable and professional. He was patient with my mom’s need to go slow and use a lift. He was personable and kind. This is a must do itinerary, but Gopi made it even better!
We had an excellent tout with Gopi. The car was clean and comfortable. We visited some interesting castles and palaces. I definitely recommend this tour if you want a reasonably priced private day trip out of Amsterdam.
