Ontdek Cork tijdens een gezinsvriendelijke wandeltocht die zoete lekkernijen, rijke geschiedenis en lokale charme combineert. We beginnen bij Cameron Bakery met verse, boterachtige gebakjes voordat we langs Merchant’s Quay langs de kronkelende River Lee wandelen. Op Emmet Place zetten we enkele van de meest iconische bezienswaardigheden van Cork in de kijker. Een korte wandeling brengt ons naar een van onze partnerwinkels in de historische Frenchchurch Street, waar u die ochtend kunt genieten van donuts die vers zijn gemaakt. Vervolgens trakteren we u op kleurrijke, creatieve variëteiten die de moderne flair en smaak van Cork laten zien. Als we naar onze laatste stop bij Cafe Mexicana gaan, passeren we de historische Coal Quay, een handelsplaats voor eeuwen. In dit gezellige café, verscholen in de Hugenotenwijk, kun je kiezen tussen Alfajores of oma’s Mexicaanse taart voor een zoete finale. Deze tour is perfect voor gezinnen, liefhebbers van eten en iedereen die graag de smaken, verhalen en ziel van Cork op een leuke, ontspannen manier wil verkennen.

Hier zullen we dit deel van Cork stad verkennen, dat door de eeuwen heen een bijenkorf van activiteit zou zijn geweest, omdat boten de stad in en uit voeren met verschillende ladingen, waarvan een van de meest bekende vaten Premium Quality Cork boter is.
Gelegen in Emmet Place is een van de beroemdste operahuizen in Ierland. Staande buiten de voordeuren, zullen we u de prachtige geschiedenis van dit iconische gebouw uitleggen, evenals wijzen op u, de beroemde Shandon Bells, en twee prachtige Queen Anne huizen, waarvan er één wordt beheerd door de internationale koffieketen, Starbucks.
Ere-bronzen standbeeld van de beroemde inheemse rock- en bluesgitarist op een aan hem gewijd plein. Je bent van harte welkom om wat foto's te maken met Rory terwijl we je iets over hem en zijn relatie met Cork vertellen.
Stoppen in het hart van de middeleeuwse stad Cork, zullen we wijzen op de plaatsen, waar de Ieren hun eten moesten kopen, en kijken naar Cork's beroemde wapenschild, dat is gelegen op een muur, waar een van de oude torens van de Queens kasteel was gevestigd.
Wandel door Washington Street en bewonder het bijzondere Cork Court-huis, het Reardons Emporium en de prachtige kerk van St. Augustines.
Tot slot, op het laatste deel van onze reis, zullen we naar beneden wandelen door het hart van de moderne stad Cork, Patrick street, en de veelheid aan architectonische stijlen van gebouwen in zich opnemen. We wijzen u op de historische Hugenotenbegraafplaats, gelegen in het hart van de stad, voordat we u naar uw laatste stop in Cafe Mexicana brengen.

Our tour guide Mary was so friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The tour was fun and informative on Cork history and also on modern day information. And most importantly it was delicious! We Loved how the donuts were not all traditional donuts and each stop was very different! Our fave was the Japanese donut followed by the Mexican one! A great way to eat your way thru the city!

The experience was fun, nice to see Cork. It was a little expensive for what it was, but we did get a lot of treats for free including donuts, bakery pastries, etc. The tour was long, but enjoyable because we got to see so many sights. The crowd was small, but nice people. Our guide, Esther, was very very kind, seemed very into the history of cork, and was enjoyable to be around. The atmosphere of cork and the different places we went was very cool, different vibes in each place. This is best for families that are looking to learn about the history of cork.
