Het eerste huis in westerse stijl van Hawaï, binnengebracht door een schip en gebouwd door de familie Hall Missionary. Deze locatie heeft ook een drukpers die de eerste bijbel in de Hawaiiaanse taal drukte.
Meer dan 14.000 koraalstenen werden gebruikt bij de bouw van dit kostbare monument. Een van de meest verbazingwekkende bezienswaardigheden van Hawaï verwelkomt bezoekers elke zondag voor een kerkdienst van 8.30 uur.
De grote koning van Hawaï die de eilanden verenigde, wordt vertegenwoordigd met dit fantastische standbeeld. Ook te zien in Hawaii Five-0 openingsscènes is dit beeld onlangs gerenoveerd met echte goudverf om zijn ware kracht als leider te tonen.

Kelly is a great guide and the tour is interesting. The bikes each have a speaker attached to them so you can always hear what he's saying. He takes lots of pictures and gives them to you at the end of the tour so you don't have to worry about missing anything. This tour is a great way to see Honolulu.

Book this tour…it’s top notch! Kelly is super knowledgeable about the area and has a wealth of history & local information to share. You get to explore so many different parts of the city that you would likely never otherwise come across on your own. He even builds in fun snack stops to try unique fruit in China Town and a delicious uniquely-Hawaiian doughnut, too. So much fun and well worth the money. I’d suggest doing this early in your trip so you have more knowledge of downtown and can also take advantage of some of Kelly’s local dining recommendations while you’re in town.

My teen daughter and I did the Historical Honolulu Bike Tour and we loved it! The tour was a great way to get oriented to Honolulu and see parts of the city we would have otherwise missed. We enjoyed hearing about the history if the island, tasting local produce, and seeing the important sites. Kelly was a fantastic guide who knows the island very well.

Really enjoyed my bike tour with Kelly! He took me through parts of the city that I hadn’t seen, including a fruit market in Chinatown. I learned so much about life on the island and its unique culture, as well as the history you would expect on a city tour. The pace was casual and time was built in to really absorb the environment. The aspect that I most appreciated on this tour is the way Kelly facilitated engagement with locals that we encountered on the street, from Kevin, a friendly man who was feeding fish at a pond to e-cyclists en route to work. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who thinks that the best way to discover a city and its residents is on a bike! Mahalo, Kelly!
