De tour vertrekt vanaf een hotel of treinstation in Hiroshima City; de volgorde van de tour kan worden gewijzigd tussen Miyajima en Peace Park om de Floating Torii Gate te zien. We gebruiken het openbaar vervoer. Reistijd naar Miyajima is 1 uur.
Een heilig spiritueel eiland dat al sinds de oudheid het eiland van God wordt genoemd en aanbeden.
De Torii Poort drijft op de zee afhankelijk van het getij. Probeer je bezoek rond hoogwater te plannen.
Itsukushima Shrine, een World Heritage Site, is ook een Japanse nationale schat en is beroemd over de hele wereld als een heiligdom drijvend op de zee!
Miyajima's oudste, mooiste en unieke tempel met meer dan 1200 jaar geschiedenis. Veel te zien en te doen.
Onderdeel van het Itsukusima heiligdom, UNESCO Werelderfgoed, gebouwd in de 16e eeuw. Grote zalen en muurloze ruimtes zijn rustig en vredig. Shogun Hideyoshi orde te bouwen.
U vindt er lokale specialiteiten zoals oesters, conger paling rijst, momiji manju en souvenirs!
We gaan richting Peace Memorial Park. In principe gebruiken we een veerboot, JR, of trein. Het duurt ongeveer 1 uur. Als optie kunt u ook een directe boot (45 minuten) naar Peace Memorial Park nemen. Controleer uw e-mail na het boeken voor details.
Atomic Bomb Dome, een werelderfgoed. Een historisch bouwwerk dat de verwoesting van het atoombombardement overbrengt.
De atoombom explodeerde 600 meter boven dit ziekenhuis. Als je hier staat, kun je het tafereel uit de eerste hand ervaren.
Leer over de feiten van het atoombombardement op Hiroshima en de wederopbouw van de stad door verschillende monumenten te bezoeken.
Het museum toont een verscheidenheid aan foto’s en documenten en geeft een kijkje in de realiteit van blootstelling aan straling.
Het beroemde tragische verhaal van een meisje "SADAKO". Je ziet veel origami kraanvogels.

Te voet ophalen. Niet vermeld hotel : laat het ons weten. Komende uit een andere stad : Hiroshima Station is de beste ontmoetingsplaats. ⚠️Voor vergaderingen in Itsukaichi Port geldt een toeslag van JPY 2.000, contant te betalen op de dag. ⚠️ Te late betaling: meer dan 20 minuten te laat zonder kennisgeving = No-Show (geen restitutie). Als u ons op de hoogte stelt, maar meer dan 1 uur te laat bent, kan de tour worden ingekort of kunnen extra kosten van toepassing zijn.

The tour with Masa made the trip! After 2 weeks in Japan and a number of tours I was worried our 3 kids wouldn’t make it through 7 hours of Hiroshima and Miwajima, Masa made sure we all had an awesome time beginning to end. Masa is fun, knowledgeable and an all around lovely person. Book in confidence, she’s awesome!
I booked this tour via tripadvisor. I was attracted by its good reviews. Masa ,the tour guide contacted me directly soon after my reservation. I was very impressed to her attention to details ,hardworking and speedy response. She planned our daytrip very well , attending to our needs . She sent us kind reminders prior to our trip . On the day of our walking tour , we enjoyed it thoroughly. Masa gave us detail explanation of the history of Miyajima and Hiroshima. She took us to explore the hidden gem ...Itsukushima Daishoin...It was beautiful. We had good lunch in a small local restaurant on the island Miyajima , Masa is a lively , caring , cheerful and passionate about her own culture. She spoke very good English. We had a wonderful day with her . She is the best tour guide we had . I certainly will book her again whenever I'm back to Hiroshima. I would highly recommend her walking tour .

We had an INCREDIBLE time at Miyajima and Hiroshima and our expectations were beyond surpassed. Child and adults, everyone had a great time. We visited all the sights we were looking forward to seeing and discovered new places we weren’t aware of. Masa was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and fun - the perfect tour guide. She also has a deep connection to Hiroshima which made our time with her extra special. My one regret is that I don’t know when we will see Masa again in the future. Our tour guide Rie was wonderful. We met at a near by hotel. From there we took the trains all around Osaka. We ate a snack together. She was very accommodating. We want to go the good places for street food and see a garden or waterfall. She checked all the boxes and made sure we got back to our ship.
