Een excursie die twee van de drie toegangen in het nationale park Torres del Paine verenigt, waardoor het mogelijk is om een niet zo bekend en zeer aantrekkelijk perspectief voor natuurobservatie te bezoeken. De landschapsomgeving is ongetwijfeld een waardige plek om te bezoeken. Op het moment dat we het park via de Lago Sarmiento-poort betreden, beginnen we ons pad met een zachte helling met een zijaanzicht op het imposante Lake Sarmiento dat grenst aan privéland, het gebruikelijke jachtgebied voor het grootste roofdier van de regio, de Puma, soort vindt in de Torres del Paine de belangrijkste voedselbron, de Guanaco. Na een uur wandelen, zullen we een dakrand bereiken waar het mogelijk is om een reeks grotschilderingen te observeren met een datum die meer dan 6000 jaar oud is, een plaats bezocht door groepen jagers bekend als een van de eerste populaties die in Patagonië aankwamen. Op deze site kunnen we de omgeving fotograferen en iets meer leren over de lokale geschiedenis. De activiteit gaat verder in de richting van Laguna Blanquillos, broed- en voederplaats van verschillende soorten endemische vogels van Patagonië, zoals eenden, caiquenes en zwarthalszwanen, altijd met frontaal uitzicht op het Paine-gebergte. Na 3 uur wandelen komen we aan bij de hoofdingang van het nationale park Torres del Paine: portier Laguna Amarga. Na een stop voor het gebruik van diensten keren we terug naar het voertuig om naar een weinig bekend gebied te gaan waar het melkachtige water van de Paine-rivier afkomstig van Dickson Glacier zijn stroom verhoogt met een grote concentratie van mineralen en sedimenten, we verwijzen naar de Paine Cascade . Op deze plek hebben we vrije tijd om te genieten van onze lunchbox met een frontaal uitzicht op de granieten torens tussen Ñirre struiken. De reis gaat verder richting Cañadón Macho, een gebied waar het mogelijk is om grote groepen guanacos te observeren die leven met soorten zoals de Ñandú, Gray Fox, Condor, Black Eagle onder anderen.

Very nice experience, learned a lot about Patagonian history. Excellent guide with lots of information but very acerbic and with good will to clear doubts
This was my favorite experience of my trip! I was lucky enough to have the other party in my group cancel so I got a private tour with Paz! The hike itself was beautiful and not very difficult. Dress for all kinds of weather because the temperature changed throughout the day several times. I am a guide in the United States and being able to share experiences with Paz was such a unique experience. She is one of a kind and you can tell how much she loves Patagonia. I learned so much about the area, the plants and the wildlife and will truly never forget this experience.
The hike was just what we wanted. We were able to see guanaco and condors, as well as beautiful scenery. The guides were very knowledgeable. If I had one recommendation , it would be to slow down a little bit when you have senior citizens.
A very well coordinated trip organised using What’s App to prepare pickup etc. A beautiful walk with stunning views, but we were lucky with a bright sunny day. Our guide Sofia was excellent and made the short trek a memorable experience. Even got to see a puma!

A gentle hike, with expansive views, to see ancient petroglyphs. The wildlife viewing turned this trip into an amazing adventure. Both our guide and driver had “eagle eyes” to spot condors, guanaco, rheas, fox. and a bunch of other birds whose names I will never remember. A truly satisfying day.
