In tegenstelling tot typische tochten, trek je 14 km (twee 7 km wandelingen) door ruige canyons en prehistorische paden, begeleid door experts, zonder toeristische polijsting – gewoon puur natuur. De overnachting bij de laatste nomaden van Marokko in grotten of tenten is niet vooraf geboekt; we komen aan met ezels, slaapzakken en voedsel, spontaan verwelkomd in hun huizen. Je deelt hun maaltijden, verhalen en dagelijks leven – dieren grazen, water halen – en biedt een intieme, ongefilterde culturele onderdompeling. Het ongerepte uitzicht op de Dades Valley vanaf de rand van de canyon, in combinatie met een zonsondergang en sterrenhemel naast deze families, creëren een zeldzame mix van avontuur en erfgoed. Het is niet zomaar een reis – het is een reis naar een verdwijnende wereld, waarin fysieke uitdaging wordt gecombineerd met diepgaande menselijke verbinding.

Maak kennis met onze gids voor een wandeling van 7 km (2 uur) door Dades Canyon – kliffen, canyons en canyoning. Klim 1 uur naar de rand voor een prachtig uitzicht op Dades Valley. Kijk zonsondergang met nomaden in grotten, het delen van diner en verhalen. Slapen in tenten of grotten (wij brengen slaapzakken, eten, ezels). Word wakker met vers brood, ontbijt en het dagelijks leven van nomaden – grazen, water, hout. Wandeling 7 km terug (2 uur) via Dinosaur Footprints Trail, oude sporen spotten. Totaal: 14 km. Inclusief: Gids, twee wandelingen (elk 7 km), diner, ontbijt, overnachting met nomaden, culturele onderdompeling, ezelvervoer. Duur: 18-20 uur (15.00 uur tot halverwege de ochtend).
Zonsondergang & overnachting met Nomaden Terwijl de zon ondergaat, kunt u genieten van een prachtige zonsondergang naast een nomadische familie die dit ruige land thuis noemen. Levend in natuurlijke grotten met hun dieren, bieden deze nomaden een zeldzaam venster op de oude tradities van Marokko. Ons team arriveert met slaapzakken, eten en ezels om voorraden mee te nemen – geen vooraf geboekte verblijven hier, maar een spontane en authentieke verbinding. De nomaden heten je van harte welkom in hun grotten en delen hun gastvrijheid, verhalen en manier van leven. Geniet van een eenvoudig, welgemeend diner bereid door uw gastheren, en kies er vervolgens voor om te slapen in een tent onder de sterren of in een grot voor een rustige nacht onder een schitterende sterrenhemel. Ochtend met de Nomaden Ontwaak met de geur van vers nomadisch brood gebakken boven een open vuur, gecombineerd met een traditioneel ontbijt. Zie hoe de nomaden hun dag beginnen – dieren grazen, water halen en hout verzamelen – met een intieme blik op hun tijdloze routines.

Exceptional unique and out of time. Unforgettable experience with a very pleasant guide, who took us to 3 hours walk, in a beautiful canyon. Then welcome and incredible sharing with a Berber family who lives in a micro oasis.

What an amazing experience for all of us! We had 2 guides that spoke good English and they were both great with the kids. The canyon scramble was very fun with beautiful views and when the kids were tired they could ride on the donkey. Staying in the cave at the shepherd's camp was an eye opener for all especially with the kids. We were lucky to have visited when there were 11 baby goats to play with.

I first got in touch with Anir, who then introduced us to Youseff, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Youseff took us on a one-night, two-day journey, offering an authentic experience with the Berber nomads. After trekking through gorges and valleys, we reached the caves of the Berber nomads, where we slept and shared meals with them. The owner of the guesthouse where we sleep, Anir, organized the whole trip, and to say it was beautiful is simplistic... probably our best experience since we were in Morocco! We did a four-hour trek (I can't say very easy, but neither can I), saw crazy places and ate at the guide's house. Youssef, the guide who accompanied us, was very kind and super helpful, even to console us in moments of discouragement and help us when we found ourselves in difficulty. A perfect day❤️ We can't wait to come back for a longer trek! Tip: comfortable shoes and waterproof pants, they will be useful, trust me!
