Laten we de meest unieke en gedenkwaardige ervaring in Tanger creëren. We zullen de schoonheid en verborgen charme van de stad ontdekken, die buiten de gebaande paden ligt. Sta ons toe om door de culturele en communicatieverschillen te navigeren om het meeste uit uw tijd te halen. Asilah, de eerste haven aan de Atlantische kust, werd in de 8e eeuw voor Christus gesticht door de Feniciërs, die de nederzetting Zili noemden. Asilah was een voortdurend strijdtoneel. In 1589 ging de controle over van de Portugezen naar de Spanjaarden, die de stad 80 jaar lang in handen hadden voordat sultan Moulay Ismail in 1691 de verdediging bestormde. De Spanjaarden bouwden een harmonieuze nieuwe stad naast de medina, van waaruit een langzaam evoluerende nieuwe haven en stranden zich noordwaarts langs de kust uitstrekken.

This is the third and final review of our 3 days touring with Achraf. We chose to see Asilah, about 45 minutes south of Tangier by private driver. The coastline is a beautiful and interesting mix of seaside scenes and surprising grazing lands right up to the shore. Achraf helped explain the specific history of the area and shared the Asilah structures that punctuated his points. Walking the medina, the white washed residences and shops contrasted with the many murals painted by this year’s artists, invited to share their ideas through shape and color. After enjoying a delightful lunch at Cafe Pepe, a restaurant in the heart of town, we relaxed on the pleasant drive back to Tangier. In sum, we enjoyed our 3 tours with Achraf and his personal drivers. He is a knowledgeable and capable guide who has the best interests of his guests at heart, and we recommend his services.
