Hidden Beach - Marietas-eilanden

I was having stomach problems the night before I was supposed to go and slept in because of it. I asked if I could go a different day instead as I had already payed for it. Acccording to the website they had spots available for the next two weeks I will be here. They will not let me go a different day or give a refund.Really I would prefer a different day to go though. I will never use them in the future or suggest them to anyone!

For lovers of the sea and new experiences, this is the tour, it is very much enjoyed from the exit of the pier. They should only have patience for the start because there are many people who go to different activities on the pier, but going with good attitude and well hydrated up to the line is enjoyed. I recommend looking for the best time of the year before booking the tour, because that will depend on it being the best or worst experience. Carry cash, to pay for tours, taxes, drinks, food, souvenirs, photographs, tips, all that is but they do not tell you until you are there, so it is warned.

Excellent tour. A paradise, The guides and the captain excellent. They explained everything. The care of the protected natural area is very good.

This was great experience with this company the person in charge is funny and jokes around. Awesome hidden beach area hard to swim into but totally worth it. The snorkeling is an awesome experience. My first time I have had a great experience snorkeling would highly recommend this tour. Very trustworthy people.

Hector & Brenna were awesome! Hidden Beach was magical as was the snorkeling. We highly recommend this trip to anyone who can swim well and is up for adventure!

This was an awesome view and amazing experience. I will say that there is a swim to get to the island. Aside from the swim everything was great. So worth it!

We had to see whales very close to us, we had an amazing time, the food they give you is not good, but you can bring your own food

We booked with this company then received an email to meet at a ‘only this time’ place. We ended up on a boat with 80 people instead of the max 6! On this new boat we weren’t given everything we paid for. It was now extra to do the island tour to the stone bridge or see the entire island. Extreme language barrier so i didn’t know what was happening a majority of the day. Our 6 person 5 hour tour for $180 ended up with 80 people and 9 hours where people paid $70!!!

We set out for our tour 3 days after hurricane Joslyn came through the area so we were not sure what to expect. We did learn only 116 people may visit the hidden beach per day due to conservation efforts. So book well far in advance. Our trip took us by out to the Isla Marietas Islands at the mouth of Banderas Bay buy speed boat. When we arrived the opening to the cave that takes you into the beach was not exposed. The tide was high and the water very choppy around the island. So our guide took us around to explore the beautiful islands, and birds. We also did some snorkeling. The snorkeling was not good due to the ocean being so stirred up due to the hurricane, but was very warm. We did finally get to enter the cave opening to the Hidden Beach. You must wear this huge bulky life jacket and helmet. The swim to the cave opening was around 50 yards. I would not recommend this if you are afraid of ocean or not an ok swimmer. The water was still quite choppy when we jumped into the water. Once we got to the beach the wait and swim was well worth it!!! So beautiful and definitely a check off the bucket list kind of trip!

The hidden beach is very nice, the place is very preserved, excellent attention by the guides, I would recommend sensitive people to drink something for dizziness before the tour
