Treed in de voetsporen van apostel Paulus tijdens een begeleide wandeltocht door Thessaloniki. Leer over zijn bezoeken aan de stad en zijn tweede missie in Griekenland. We zullen zijn twee brieven aan de Thessalonicenzen analyseren en hun historische context en betekenis ontdekken voor de christelijke gemeenschap van Thessaloniki en de kerk in het algemeen. We bezoeken plaatsen die Paulus volgens de overlevering passeerde, en horen over de verschillende mensen die hij hier ontmoette. We gaan de incidenten volgen die worden beschreven in de Handelingen van de Apostelen wat betreft de Thessaloniki gebeurtenissen maar ook gaan we het hebben over zijn hele tweede missie die voornamelijk in Griekenland plaatsvond. A great two hour focusing on the history of the Apostle Paul in the region. Giorgos was knowledgeable, kind, and personable. You can tell he really loves his work. We learned a lot about Greek history! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in Biblical history.
This was one of the best tours we did on our trip to Thessaloniki! Girogos was very knowledgeable and went through the details in Paul's letters to the Thessalonians as well as what was recorded in Acts on the tour. He also connected it to the Thessaloniki/Greek history of the time. We learned info that really helped us understand more the context/history of the time when Paul wrote his letters. Girogos also took us to some amazing spots we wouldn't have known about on our own. Highly recommend this tour if you are in Thessaloniki!
