De binnenplaats: Het is moeilijk te geloven dat deze prachtige binnenplaats ooit de paardenstallen en de keuken huisvestte. Laten we teruggaan in de tijd om te weten dat de Hospitaalridders hun verblijfplaats hebben beveiligd en waarom de standbeelden van Romeinse senatoren de locatie sieren. Bekijk de hedendaagse restauratie van dichtbij en ontdek wat er mis is gegaan. De kamer met het geribbelde gewelf: versierd met een vroege mozaïekbestrating versierd met vogels, bomen en vazen uit Kos en uitgerust met 16e-eeuws meubilair, was de kamer het kantoor van Cesare Maria De Vecchi. De Vecchi was degene die het programma bedacht voor het herstel van de glorie van de Hospitaalridders. Deze bescheiden kamer werd het beleg van de machtige De Vecchi. I purchased the tickets online and they didn’t work for what I bought them for Do not buy from here. Scam
It was good, but one piece of information did not correspond to the truth. Entrance tickets cost €20.00 and not as indicated on the website, €8.00.
A useful guide & easy to download for use as you move around. Just be sure this is guide only not entrance. After tour I discovered a second exhibition on Ancient Rhodes opposite cafe but only open 2 days weekly & a stone hall in garden with more details of the knights. Neither were advertised any where which I think l is missing a good selling point for the castle

An extensive, interesting collection. This dealt with various themes from antiquity to the present grandmaster. There were staff in all areas. A disadvantage was that there was no handrail along the stairs.

This is a con it leaves you to believe admission is included, so I was turned away and had to pay again, this is misssold and useless, and I was refused a refund, total waste of money as all your descriptions are already at the palace.

On TripAdvisor we bought 2 tickets to the Grand Masters Palace which were not accepted at Welcoming, it's theft

€20 per person?? And there is little return. Items on display tell no story and the annotation was either missing or difficult to read (faded). Staff listed around the site were gazing at their phones (who can blame them as it was so boring) and they occasionally shouted out when a child touched a stone on display… one chap was equally bored and switched off a light which caused a staff member to have a melt down (that was the highlight of the visit). But hey, you’ve come all this way so give them your €20, have a wonder, have a moan (like me) and leave. Then treat yourself to some amazing food in a roof top terrace… you deserve it!

I am a maybe because it took me a while to figure out that I had received a message in the app with a download link. It wasn't visible until after the morning of the scheduled event. Not realizing that I would be downloading the audio to my phone I set out to see the Grand Masters Palace. I arrived. I asked the ticket ladies, the gift shop ladies, the security guard, andy that looked like they might have a clue. Where could I pick up my audio listen device like had at many other places on my trip. I was told by the ticketing office that this was a scam. I was pretty sure that was not the case. After being there for about an hour I finally saw the message eith the link. I downloaded it and went back to the gate to follow the Tour. It was not exactly up to date with the flow of the rooms. It made it hard to follow. There were exhibits going on which probably threw off that flow as rooms were open that were not mentioned on the Tour. What the audio did have to was informative if you could follow. If I had to do it over again I probably would choose a different way. If you want to do the Tour at your leisure and go as fast or slow as you like then "maybe" this id the option for you.
