Bezoek het prachtige Comomeer vanuit Milaan met de trein. Het Comomeer is een schat aan natuur, prachtige landschappen en cultuur. Charmante steden en prachtige villa's, met tuinen versierd met marmeren beelden en exotische planten zullen u verrassen. Vertrek 's ochtends met uw professionele gids per trein vanuit Milaan en in slechts 1 uur bereikt u het charmante Varenna, een aantrekkelijk dorp aan de oostelijke oever van het Comomeer, met uitzicht over het centrale deel van het meer richting Bellagio. De pittoreske straatjes en oude vissershuizen van Varenna zijn pretentieloos aantrekkelijk, en sommige bezoekers verkiezen de stad boven zijn grotere buren.
Vanuit Varenna maakt u een boottocht naar Bellagio, gelegen op de kaap van de landmassa die het Comomeer in tweeën deelt. Bellagio's hotels en restaurants van wereldklasse, ook wel de "Parel van het meer" genoemd, bieden de perfecte plek om te genieten van het beroemde panorama van het meer. Hier heb je tijd voor gratis lunch en winkelen.
Na de lunch gaat je tour verder naar Tremezzo en Villa Carlotta; de transfer geeft je de kans om 's middags te ontspannen en de spectaculaire bergen en de prachtige villa's te bewonderen, ooit de huizen van aristocraten, nu de speeltuinen voor de jetset. Villa Carlotta is een plek van zeldzame schoonheid, waar meesterwerken van natuur en kunst in perfecte harmonie samenleven in meer dan 70.000 vierkante meter aan tuinen en musea. Het biedt een elegant neoklassiek interieur met een beeldengalerij met werken van Antonio Canova, maar de uitgestrekte en onberispelijk onderhouden tuinen die zich vanuit de villa in beide richtingen uitstrekken, zullen u echt de adem benemen. Na het bezoek zal je gids je terug naar Varenna begeleiden en van daaruit neem je de trein naar Milaan.

Great day trip from Milan to the highlights of Lake Como. Guide was knowledgeable, very patient, and often pointed out little things that make a tour unique. Booking this gave me all I wanted and more, not to mention it saves you tons of time not having to stand in the long lines for the boats!

First of all our guide Emilio was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and more like a friend than a guide. He took us on the trains and the boats. Then accompanied us on the different stops with his excellent commentary. The views of the mountains and lake were amazing and so beautiful. We did some shopping in Bellagio. They have locally produced silk scarves and ties. All in all it was a wonderful and memorable experience. I highly recommend it!

Bellagio Taxi was the ideal way for us to travel to/from Belagio. They were professional, friendly and prompt. Special shout out to our driver, Frederico, who was great.

Our guide Francesco was WONDERFUL. But there is no way this tour was worth the $500+ the two of us paid for it. It was a bunch of things we could have easily arranged in our own for about a quarter of the price. Add in the guide, and we are still at less than half the price. Also, who wants to spend 3 hours in crowded tacky Bellagio? That stop could've been eliminated or cut short. Francesco is knowledgeable and engaging and we would give him our highest recommendation, but the itinerary is padded and overpriced. I would like a credit on my upcoming Viator purchases. i think that would be fair.
I am really very sorry about your feedback. You wrote a bad review, asked for money back and tried in any way to make the day a bad day... In my opinion, you had a great tour with Francesco. You selected the wrong day to make the tour, during weekend and during italian festivities which all milaneses and italians move to como lake to enjoy the day off. You are right, Bellagio is over crowed but people still want to stay there and visit it. consider the fact to tell your parents, friends, colleagues to visit Como lake skipping Bellagio, maybe something can change, but if we spend time in Bellagio is not my fault. regards

Lake Como was beautiful except there were no trains back to Milan. Maria Angela was great, she went beyond her touring skills and made sure we got back safe. She is very knowledgeable and caring.
