Kijk uit vanaf deze prachtige plek, die hoog op de klif is geplaatst. Je gids geeft je de tijd om foto's te maken vanaf deze iconische plek. Vanaf deze plek is veel geschiedenis te zien, waaronder de eilanden Molokai en Lanai. Op een zeer heldere dag kun je misschien de top van Haleakala op Maui zien.
Als we open zijn, nemen we even de tijd om deze prachtige baai te zien met een stop bij hun uitkijkpunt. Dit is geen zwemstop, maar u moet er op een van uw ochtenden de tijd voor nemen.
Dit prachtige deel van de kustlijn heeft veel te zien. Het blaasgat, het ongelooflijke landschap, zelfs walvissen in de winter.
De kustlijnen veranderen dramatisch terwijl we tijdens deze tour rond het eiland cirkelen. Je gids deelt bij elke stop lokale kennis en geschiedenis. Deze is best cool. Zoals al onze haltes, is het absoluut prachtig.
Hoog op het Koolau-gebergte, is het uitkijkpunt Nuu Pali doordrenkt van schoonheid en een rijke Hawaiiaanse geschiedenis. Epische veldslagen gevochten en verloren. Eeuwen reizen over dit gebied en zijn paden. We kijken vanaf hier uit over de prachtige benedenwindse gebieden, hoog boven de steden Kailua, Waimanalo en Kaneohe.
We nemen even de tijd om na te denken in deze heilige vallei vol heiligdommen van de culturen waaruit de bevolking van de eilanden bestaat. Dit omvat een verbazingwekkende reconstructie van een 600 jaar oude Japanse tempel. Het aangelegde terrein en het gebouw is iets dat u niet mag missen.
We maken een korte stop om de lokale familieboerderij te bekijken met geweldige koffie en macadamia-noten. Maak kennis met een lokaal bedrijf en geniet van een drankje. Kijk rond op de boerderij. Het is een schattig plekje.
Onderweg biedt je gids verhalen, feiten en andere stukjes informatie die je zeker leuk zult vinden. Inclusief tal van verhalen over de aanval op Pearl Harbor en wat er als reactie werd gedaan. We zien dat veel gedurende de dag en vooral rond Kualoa Ranch. We nemen even de tijd om uit te kijken op Chinaman Hat en de baai, met de marinebasis op de achtergrond.
We stoppen bij de Hukilau Marketplace om wat te lunchen en te winkelen. Ze hebben veel leuke plekjes om zelf te lunchen. Van het restaurant onder leiding van een topkok tot de vele foodtruck-opties rond de binnenplaats, u zult niet teleurgesteld zijn met elke maaltijd die u hier krijgt.
We maken een aantal stops om te genieten van het uitzicht over de stranden aan de noordkust van Oahu. Bekijk de beroemde stukken zand, inclusief topsurfplekken zoals Pipeline en Waimea Bay.
We maken een kleine omweg naar de historische stad Haleiwa, zodat u deze prachtige badplaats kunt zien. De schattige gebouwen, de rivierbrug en de surfervibe zorgen ervoor dat je het leven op de North Shore wilt opnemen. We rijden door deze stad (je gids kan stoppen, afhankelijk van de tijd).
Het wereldberoemde ananasbedrijf heeft nog volop velden rond de plantagestop. We stappen uit om te winkelen en een kans om de smakelijke Pineapple Whip-traktaties te proberen. Verken het terrein en leer alles over de geschiedenis van Hawaï met ananas en wat ze zo goed maakt.
Het verhaal van koning Kamehameha is bekend bij iedereen die hier woont. Leer er alles over van je gids en waarom hij zo belangrijk was. We stoppen om niet alleen dit prachtige standbeeld te bekijken, maar ook het koninklijk paleis en het gebouw van het hooggerechtshof dat door de jaren heen op veel populaire tv-shows is geweest, waaronder Hawaii 5-O.

Our tour around Honolulu was absolutely unforgettable. From the stunning ocean views and scenic stops to learning about the island’s history and culture, every part of the experience was amazing and so well organized. I had a very nice experience on this Oahu tour—The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, giving us the perfect mix of scenic beauty, cultural insight, and time to relax and take it all in. Each stop was memorable. Our guide, Rocky, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and spirit of the island. He made the experience feel personal rather than rushed, and I learned so much along the way. Transportation was comfortable. I just wish we had more time at some of the stops. If you’re visiting Oahu and want a well-rounded introduction to the island, take this tour to complement other tours. It was a great way to see the whole island.

I booked this trip but, without notification or explanation, was put in a different tour. The one I ended up on didn’t stop everywhere I wanted to and was cheaper. Plus, the provider has not replied to my messages since I got back. I feel like it was a bait and switch.

Tim, the guide was very informative and fun. Scenic views were tremendous! Maybe a few too many stops at “tourist traps”, but good timing and very little crowds.

While we saw a few things around the island, most stops on the tour were not made. No stops at the following itinerary stops--Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay Preserve, Makapu'U Point (no mention at all), Tropical Farms Macadamia Nut (no mention at all), Kuala Regional Park, Hakilau Market, North shore stops, and King statue (no mention). So I believe we made 4 out of 12 scheduled stops. We were 30 minutes late leaving and then had to make another stop because people were on the wrong tour due to mixup with company. Picture opportunities were very limited. I would not recommend spending this much money on such a skimpy tour. Tour time was probably closer to 5-6 hours than 9 hours. We could have hired a driver on our own.

The new owners aim to make sure our drivers are delivering the tours as advertised. Please give me your driver's name and your date of tour so that we can make sure that does not happen again. If you signed up for a 9 hour tour, then that is what you should get. We were not the owners at that point but we have retained some of the drivers from Hawaii Tours LLC (the former owners) and want to make sure they are up to our standards. We loved our tour around Oahu. It was a small group that made it easy to get around the island. The stops were all beautiful and gave us a great experience outside the city of Honolulu. There was plenty of time allowed at each stop to take pictures or buy some great memories of Oahu. The lunch stop at the food trucks was one of the best meals we had on the island. Still craving the grilled shrimp and grilled salmon. We loved the stop at the Buddhist Temple which included a peaceful time to reflect and absorb the beauty of Hawaii. Our tour guide was wonderful and provided us with great history and information. He made us feel very welcome. The tour was the perfect amount of time to get around and see all the natural beauty of Oahu.

Our tour guide Chaunci was super friendly, a local that shared a lot of info. Very detailed tour and got to see a lot of Oahu. Our tour was also nice because only 4 of us on the bus. Made it very personal and spacious.
