Killarney unfortunately has become a very expensive overrated holiday attraction and looks more of a commercial business.
Thank you for sharing your opinion. While we understand that every visitor will have their own perspective on a destination, your comment does not relate to an experience on our Killarney Brews & Views tour, and we have no record of you joining us on this particular tour. Killarney Jaunting Cars is a fifth-generation family business, proudly operating for over 220 years. While we are deeply rooted in tradition, we are also a commercial business. In order to continue caring for our horses, employing local people, and delivering high-quality visitor experiences, we must operate sustainably and professionally — just as any responsible long-standing business does.We are always open to constructive feedback from guests who have toured with us, and we would welcome the opportunity to speak directly if you would like to discuss your comments further.
Tour guide was awesome. Enjoyed the ride. Loved the castles !!! Park was amazing!! Service at the pub wasn’t the greatest.
Great experience to explore a bit of Killarney. A little piece of everything. Amazing place & people ! Pizza was delicious to end the tour.
Driver was pleasant and staff at restaurant were very friendly. However, this tour WAS NOT worth over $120! I feel cheated.
Hi Lynda, thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear you felt cheated. You had an evening excursion with a private tour for 1 person of Killarney National Park on board your exclusive Jaunting Car followed by a visit to Killarney Brewing Taproom which included quality beer, served with a delicious wood fired pizza made with the finest, carefully selected ingredients. I am glad to see that you had a positive take on the team members you met during your experience. The price and offering is very clear at time of booking. I have looked back at recent reviews on this tour and general consensus is that it is an awesome tour.
The cart rides are a unique experience, our driver got our reservation mixed up with the standard cart ride so we missed the Cathedral and had to help him find the brewery to get dropped off for the pizza. Before you leave make sure they know it’s for the full experience not just a standard ride. Got it all sorted so it wasn’t a problem in the long run. The pizza and beer at the Killarney Brewing Company was fantastic, worth the effort and got a great sweatshirt to remember the day by. Would still recommend the experience just make sure the driver knows your full itinerary!
We did this tour in the evening and had James as our guide. I think the evening was the perfect time, the sunset was perfect. Our horse was Crystal and she was doing a great job. Then we went to the brewery after and had some really good pizza and a pint
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Calvin (our driver) expertly keeping his horse, Judy, in line. The insight provided during the very convivial conversation was perfect. It's a great way to experience the beauty of the National Park. The Craft Beer and Pizza that was included in the fare was also excellent. All in all, well worth recommending.
What a fun evening! Owen (driver) & Jessica (horse) were fantastic. Owen was very funny and he knew so much about the area and Ross Castle. The pizza & beer at the Killarney Brewery was delicious. A great evening out.
The Jaunting Car Tour was a lovely, relaxing ride through the Park. Our driver, Johnny, was very entertaining and knowledgeable of the area. Were dropped off at the Craft Brewery afterwards for the BEST Pizza I've had in a long time (Craft Beer was great too!))
We had a wonderful time on the jaunting car tour. Calvin was a great tour guide with interesting stories and facts about the area.
