Als uw hotel niet centraal gelegen is of niet goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer, dan is het ontmoetingspunt de Duitse Fontein (Sultanahmetplein). ****Als privé Voertuig service is geboekt, pick-up is beschikbaar bij alle centraal gelegen hotels. Houd er rekening mee dat er een extra toeslag van toepassing kan zijn voor hotels buiten het stadscentrum of aan de Aziatische kant. ****Tours zonder voertuig service kan comfortabel worden uitgevoerd met behulp van het openbaar vervoer, zoals tram, kabelbaan en veerboten. ****Tours vanaf de luchthavens moeten worden geboekt met privé busje service. Aangezien luchthavens buiten de standaard ophaalzone liggen, wordt een toeslag in rekening gebracht.

This was a fabulous Private Walking Tour of Istanbul. Idylle met us at our hotel and we discussed what we could like to do and how we would do it. This was great to do this on the hotel out of the hot sun. Idylle took us to Topkapi, Hagia Sofia, The Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Pottery Demonstration and showed us much more about Istanbul. We didn’t feel rushed, we travelled at our own pace and felt very safe. To summarise, Idylle is knowledgable, articulate, professional, friendly and fun. If you can request Idylle then in our opinion you won’t get a better guide. .

We loved our tour with Gulshen! She was very knowledgeable and we felt very guided and cared for as she took the care to purchase tickets for us while we were able to wait in the shade. It was very thoughtful and educational. She was also very accommodating asking us for our preferences and if we needed a break for bathroom or snacks. We also enjoyed the luxury van that drove us around! Very pleasurable experience, would highly recommend!

We had a great experience with our guide Idyll in Istanbul. Booked a two day tour where we explored The blue Mosque, The Bazaar, a boat trip on the Bosphorus, the water reservoar, shopping at Taksim. We also saw one of the Palaces and ate fantastic food during the days. I travel with my two children, one fifteen year old and one 10 year old and having a guide was extremely helpful to access all the places easily. I strongly recommend it if you come to Istanbul.

Language interpreter was very helpful due to a food allergy. The tour gave a good sense of Istanbul history and culture.

This tour is not worth it at all. All of the sites visited were free - an exorbitant amount of money for sites that you could do on your own, a close walk to one another. I was expecting a day tour (7 hour advertised) and the tour ended up being 3.5 hours. Unfortunately, my guide also misled me re: information about certain sites being closed. Positive: my tour guide was nice, and I did enjoy spending the time I did touring. It was unfortunate the company did not complete the tour as promised.

Kemal was an absolute gem of a guide. He took us through Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, and the bazaar, each stop thoughtfully explained without ever feeling rushed. His knowledge brought the history to life in a way that actually stayed with us. The lunch spot he chose was a highlight of the entire trip. We completely fell in love with the food, and trying semolina halva for the first time was a moment we’re still talking about. That alone was worth the tour. If you’re visiting Istanbul, book Kamal.
