Deze 2 uur durende stadstour neemt je mee naar de hoogtepunten van de stad Florence na zonsondergang met een best beoordeelde lokale gids. Deze tour is een geweldige kennismaking met de stad en je ziet de Santa Croce-kerk, het Bargello-paleis, het Piazza della Signoria, de Ponte Vecchio, het Piazza della Repubblica, het Palazzo Vecchio, de Porcellino, de kathedraal, de Giotto-klokkentoren (allemaal van buitenaf) en veel meer.

Wandel door het centrum van Florence in het gezelschap van een lokale gids en je leert iets over de geschiedenis van de stad, vooral tijdens de Renaissance. Je ziet eerst de buitenkant van de kerk van Santa Croce, de belangrijkste Franciscaanse kerk van Florence met zijn prachtige fresco's.
langs de beroemdste pleinen gaan we naar Piazza della Repubblica en daarna naar de Ponte Vecchio om de prestigieuze juwelierswinkels te zien.
Terwijl je door de straten en pleinen van Florence slentert, kom je bij het politieke centrum van de stad, Piazza della Signoria. Aan de ene kant is de Galleria degli Uffizi ooit het huis van de groothertog van Florence en aan de andere kant van het plein het imposante Palazzo Vecchio, de voormalige zetel van de Florentijnse regering.
Het laatste bezoek van de tour is aan de beroemde Piazza Duomo met zijn prachtige kathedraal die bekend staat om zijn oogverblindende groen en wit marmer. Op dit punt neemt je gids je mee naar de basiliek van San Lorenzo, waar je afscheid neemt en dan vrij bent om deze prachtige kerk op je gemak te verkennen.

Leonardo was amazing! He took us on a night tour of Florence- provided interesting historical information that entertained our entire family (myself, my husband and our 12 year old daughter). He was extremely kind energetic and funny. He took great photos and provided recommendations for restaurants that we absolutely loved. Would highly recommend!

I'm so glad I booked this tour my first night in Florence. Stefania was a warm, engaging, extremely knowledgeable guide. The tour covered the city's interesting history, cultural highlights and also gave me a good idea of the layout of the city. It also helped clarify different places I want to make sure to visit while I'm here. Very glad I took the tour at night as the city looks especially beautiful illuminated at night and there are fewer tourists out at that time. Stefania answered any/all questions I had and kindly gave recommendations for restaurants and points of interest as well. I highly recommend this tour, especially on your first night in the city.

This walking tour is a perfect length and is a great intro to major Florentine landmarks and their history. But our guide also emphasized underappreciated gems like the Bargello and Santa Croce which are worth a visit.
Learnt a great deal about Florence on this 2 hour tour. Highly recommend doing this first night so you know what to look for, the history, building styles and crests and most important which museums and cathedrals / church you may want to visit during your holiday.
We did this tour on a friends recommendation first night in Florence and I will tell you it was the best decision. Daniel our tour guide was awesome, knowledgeable and we had him all to ourselves!! :) This tour gave us a taste of the city and what things to check out more in detail on the next couple days we were there! I highly recommend it. Beautiful to tour the city walking with a guide that knows and will give you important tips as you explore florence on your own.
