Het beste van Cinque Terre Tour

We had a great day's excursion with Chiara to the Cinque Terre! Chiara collected us from our cruise ship and communication while we were disembarking was very helpful. Her vehicle was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. She drove professionally on small mountain roads with great care and attention and we felt safe and secure at all times. On the way to the Cinque Terre she provided a good deal of information about the surrounding countryside and provided plenty of detail about the history, lifestyle and food of the area. On arrival at the villages Chiara gave clear instructions as to the best places to wander and the restaurants to eat at - she also made it perfectly clear as to where she would be waiting for us and at what time. All in all, she ensured we had a memorable day and returned us to our ship in good time feeling we had experienced the best of the Cinque Terre. We had a wonderful experience with our guide Arnoldo! He picked us up directly at our hotel for a day trip to Cinque Terre. He then dropped us off in Barga as we had asked for. Arnoldo was very knowledgeable, friendly and provided nice cold waters! Davide and Alessandra who I worked with directly to book the tour were also wonderful and responded to all of my questions in a timely fashion. Highly recommend them!!

Chiara was our driver for the day. She was excellent! Chiara picked us up at the Livorno port and drove us to Cinque Terre. Along the way, she gave us history and pointed out interesting sites. Once in Cinque Terre, Chiara helped us secure ferry tickets and told us where to get off plus where she would meet us. It was so easy because of Chiara. Cinque Terre is beautiful and wonderful to walk around. Each town having their own charm. I highly recommend Ciao Italy Tours and Chiara for your driver.

Many of the shops are closed for the season. Very little to see in December. Advantage for this time of year is traffic and crowds are manageable. Our driver, Zach, was incredible. He was waiting for us as we disembarked the ship. And an awesome driver.

First off, I can not say how much I enjoyed spending an entire day with Chiara, our fantastic and knowledgeable guide. I would never want to do a tour without her. We had a quiet group, but Chiara kept the atmosphere light and everyone comfortable. The most outstanding thing was how fresh she made the tour feel. She did not recite a script but interjected comments and highlights as needed. I wish I had booked my tour to Pisa with her. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. The tour itself was perfect. I found the amount of time spent in each town was just right. I highly recommend this tour if you have already seen Florence and Pisa.

Max is a fantastic and safe driver through all the narrow windy roads! His stories both personal and about the region made for an enjoyable journey. The car was new, very comfortable, and clean. We were fortunate to also get access to the gate to Cinque Terre and avoided extra walking in the summer heat which we greatly appreciated!! We tried regional focaccia, pesto, and sciacchetrà wine at different stops. Highly recommend this tour for an iconic day trip.

Not really a “guided tour” but rather “escorted transportation”. Took the day trip from Florence with boat ride option. Expected to hear more about the countryside on the way; instead only 1 or 2 sights pointed out each way then mostly silence. Some information is given by the tour guide at the beginning of each town but basically they are just escorting you on and off the train. Very little time (less than an hour) at each of the 4 towns. Not enough time to do much except hike as fast as possible to one of the views then rush back to the meeting point. Boat tour cancelled due to weather (understandable) but we weren’t given the additional time in any of the towns, instead they just brought us back an hour early (unacceptable). No partial refund or anything. If you are even a semi-competent traveler you could figure out the local train system (be sure to learn about ticket validation!) and use Google for facts about each town and save yourself a lot of money. Don’t miss the Cinque Terre - scenery is amazing and one of a kind - but you could skip the tour. Not worth the money in our opinion unless you want to pay a high price for convenience.

We had the opportunity to be shown around Cinque Terre by Stefano. He was a great driver, patient, had great advice, showed us his recommended favourite place, had a large comfy vehicle and was just an all round lovely guy. He shared information about what we would see and stopped for us to take pictures. It was a great experience and be even swapped WhatsApp numbers in case we were done quicker or in one instance we stayed longer so the teens could swim. It was a wonderful experience.

Absolutely gorgeous villages to visit on a sunny beautiful blue sky day!!! Diego, our driver Ali g with 2 drivers were absolutely great to communicate with the entire trip. We got to see Porto Verene, Vernazza n Coneglia.
