Onze tour begint met een pick-up van je verblijfplaats om 07:00 uur. We gaan naar Naivasha door de Great Rift Valley. Onze eerste ruststop is bij het uitkijkpunt Great Rift Valley, een perfecte plek om de berg te bekijken longonot, een slapende vulkaan die is vernoemd naar een maasai-woord, Oloongonot, wat berg met vele richels betekent.
Na de stop gaan we naar Hell's Gate National Park, waar we een gamedrive zullen maken in het park, met uitzicht op het prachtige landschap dat het park biedt en verschillende soorten dieren in hun dagelijkse routine.
Hierna gaan we naar het visserskamp voor een heerlijke lunch en een boottocht in het Naivasha-meer. Na een spannende tour bij de smalle breuk in de kliffen, gaan we terug naar Nairobi met een drop-off in je hotel of thuis.

What an incredible experience with African Bush Explorers. The customer service was always available and constantly checking on us to make sure everything was in order. Every moment was enjoyable and unforgettable. The trip exceeded all our expectations, and the memories made a truly special adventure. I visited Hell's Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha in December 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. Cycling through Hell's Gate while seeing wildlife up close, followed by a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha, made for a perfect day. Admission Fee: Reasonably priced, with separate charges for the Lake Naivasha boat ride. Length of Visit: Around 6–8 hours for both destinations. Atmosphere: Peaceful, scenic, and perfect for outdoor adventure. Crowd Size: Moderately busy due to the holiday season, but not overcrowded. Staff: Friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the visit. Best For: Families, couples, groups, hikers, cyclists, photographers, and nature lovers. Overall Rating: 5/5 – A fantastic day trip with beautiful scenery, wildlife, and memorable experiences. Highly recommended.
This was a nice experience for us visiting the park it is well maintained, the scenery is unforgettable, and the entire experience was peaceful and enjoyable. This was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend a visit to hells gate and lake naivasha for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Kenyan safari without traveling far from the city. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and I can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend.

My visit to Hell's Gate National Park was an amazing and adventurous experience. The park featured dramatic landscapes, towering cliffs, deep gorges, and unique rock formations, making it one of the most memorable places I have visited. Unlike in many other parks, I enjoyed the freedom of cycling and walking next to wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, and antelopes in their natural habitat. The scenery was breathtaking, especially at sunset when the sky reflected beautifully on the lake. I also loved exploring the nearby nature trails and learning about the local ecosystem. The atmosphere was peaceful, providing an ideal escape from busy city life. The local guides and staff were excellent, and the facilities around the lake were well maintained.
