- Vanwege de aard van deze tour en de veiligheid van alle gasten behoudt de touroperator zich het recht voor om diensten te weigeren aan passagiers die dronken zijn of tekenen van dronkenschap vertonen. Indien uw reis hierdoor wordt geannuleerd, heeft u geen recht op restitutie.
- Vanwege het comfort en het gewicht/de balans van het vliegtuig moeten passagiers die meer dan 136 kg wegen een extra stoel kopen. Dit dient op de dag van de tour rechtstreeks aan de touroperator te worden betaald.
- Het totale gecombineerde passagiersgewicht (inclusief piloot) mag niet hoger zijn dan 530 kg (1170 lbs)
- Er is een maximale capaciteit van zeven (7) personen per helikopter, plus uw piloot.
- Volgens de FAA-voorschriften is een origineel door de overheid uitgegeven identiteitsbewijs met foto, zoals een rijbewijs dat voldoet aan de REAL-ID of een geldig paspoort, vereist voor alle reizigers ouder dan 18 jaar. Fotokopieën of digitale ID's worden niet geaccepteerd. Elke gast die aankomt zonder origineel, door de overheid uitgegeven identiteitsbewijs wordt het inchecken geweigerd en er worden geen restituties verstrekt voor elke gast in de reservering.
- Er zijn minimaal 4 personen nodig om deze activiteit te laten plaatsvinden. Er is een mogelijkheid tot annulering na bevestiging als er niet genoeg passagiers zijn om aan de vereisten te voldoen. In het geval dat dit gebeurt, wordt u een alternatief of volledige terugbetaling aangeboden.
- Helikopterzitplaatsen zijn gebaseerd op wettelijke gewichts- en balanslimieten en worden na het inchecken toegewezen. Maverick Helicopters garandeert geen zitplaatsen naast of in dezelfde rij als de rest van het gezelschap.’

We were so lucky to have a handsome interpreter there, and he was very kind to us.
Living in Southern California for twenty years and wanting to go to Catalina Island all the while, I chose the fastest route. Our pilot took me and five other guests to Avalon in eighteen minutes. We even spotted a pod of dolphins. Smooth ride and reasonably priced ($100 more than Catalina flyer for roundtrip). Large windows, moonroof and floor windows gave a panoramic view while flying like a movie star. Twenty minute walk, picturesque to downtown or pre-arrange a golf-cart transfer. Free overnight parking at Maverick private parking lot.

It was not as scary as I thought. It was nice to do this with my family. Super easy to arrive, park and set up.
We have flown multiple times before when it was IEX. We flew round trip from Long Beach to Catalina Island and it was great. But Maverick has since taken over the company. While trying to book online I did come across a generic line item for "fees" that was almost $300 for 4 passengers. This was not the FET tax just a separate line item. I reached out to an online agent but she didn't seem to understand what I was asking. She kept telling me the passenger seat cost varied depending on demand and day. Totally understand but that was not what I was asking. I think we went back and forth with her repeating the same information for about 5 minutes before I literally listed out line by line all the costs. This was very frustrating. Finally she was able to say that this was an island fee and there was some sort of California fee. This was all I wanted to know. I tried to explain that customers want to know what these fees are, especially when it is almost $300 extra in addition to your total costs and that they should include that info (the same way airlines do). She basically told me that I don't have to make the purchase if I don't want to. What? So anyway if you book and you want to know what the fees are they are basically island fees.
Amazing experience from the team and pilot taking care of us. We had such a great trip to Catalina. Our pilot spotted a pod of 100 dolphins and circled to allow us to see them.
