Today we went on a private tour with six friends, the staff were very helpful having even booked at the last minute. The driver gave us a great tour and explained everything we were seeing. So apparently VooTours are not able to abide by the booking times mentioned in Viator website, as soon as i booked the heli tour for 2:30, they have reached out to me via whatsapp to change the timings of the tour which forced me to change my travel plans which resulted in me and my wife missing the heli tour.
Thanks for the review. It was unfortunate that you missed the helicopter ride due to late arrival of your flight to Dubai. It is mandatory to arrive at helipad 1 hour prior to the Helicopter Tour Time along with the original passport or Emirates ID for residents. Also, within 24-hour Helicopter tour cannot be rescheduled. Your request for helicopter ride was to be at 2:30 PM and however our availability was at 2:50 PM which upon your confirmation the booking was made at 2.50 PM. As per your message on WhatsApp on the day of tour at 9:25 AM, you mention that your flight to Dubai was delayed but you will reach on time i.e. the reporting is 1.50 PM. Later at 2:21 PM, you messaged us that you will be arriving at 3:20 PM but your helicopter tour was scheduled for 2:50 PM and you were supposed to reach at the helipad at 1:50 PM. Since, you could not reach on time to the helipad, and this was considered as “No Show”. We regret for your loss and hope you to see you on your next journey to Dubai.
Everythings was wonderful, but we did not know how to obtain the transportation...so we had to purchase a taxi.
