Seward Helicopters is het oudste opererende Helikopter bedrijf dat Seward is. We kennen het Seward gebied en Godwin Glacier beter dan wie dan ook. Wij zijn lokaal eigendom van en beheerd door lange tijd bewoners van de Seward gemeenschap. Dit kleine familiebedrijf vliegt exclusief uit Seward, dus we maken het onze prioriteit om experts in het vliegen rond deze prachtige kust van Alaska. Ervaar de schoonheid van de winter tijdens de zomer tijdens deze helikopter- en sleetocht. Helikopter in een professioneel hondenkamp op de top van de Godwingletsjer en ontmoet geweldige atleten, de Alaskaanse husky's en mushers terwijl je de ins en outs van Alaska's staatssport leert. Rijd mee op een gemakkelijke hondensleetocht van 2 mijl, leer meer over hoe deze prachtige honden worden opgevoed, speel vervolgens in de sneeuw en knuffel met de pups.

Land bovenop de prachtige Godwin-gletsjer, waar je een team van sledehonden zult ontmoeten en ongeveer 25 minuten met een hondenslee door de sneeuw zult gaan, terwijl je onderweg stopt om foto's te maken. Deze ongelooflijke gletsjer, die je vanuit de helikopter te zien krijgt, is meer dan 5 mijl lang en 4 mijl breed.

We were unable to take this tour because it was accidently booked in the wrong city. Viator was not very helpful about rectifying the situation. But North Stars tours were - go through them to book this same tour!!
As a small, locally owned tour company, many of our departures sell out, and unfortunately third-party booking platforms can sometimes add an extra layer between the guest and the actual operator. They don’t always have the same familiarity with our locations, products, availability, or policies that our team does. Whenever possible, we recommend booking directly with the tour operator. It allows us to work with you personally from the beginning, make sure you’re booking the correct location and experience, and help resolve questions or changes without having to go through a third party. Very professional staff. The staff were extremely kind and helpful with one of the people in our party who is disabled. It was the premier excursion of our trip. A special shout out to Broccoli (Brock) and Chris for their kindness.
It’s hard to describe this experience in words, but it will take your breath away. It is a true adventure. We took 3 kids and they cried when they left because they didnt want to leave. I cried when we arrived because of the magnitude of the landscape. Our mushers and the rest of the staff were amazing. Matt, Tanner, Brock and Will made our experience extra special. We got to spend extra time on the glacier due to weather and they cooked us a delish lunch and made us feel at home. It was a day we will never forget. Huge thanks and lots of love.
An absolute highlight of our trip to Alaska! The glacier flight up to the camp was breathtaking, offering stunning aerial views of the landscape. Once we landed on the snow, the energy of the dogs was incredible. The mushers were highly knowledgeable, passionate, and took excellent care of the dogs. Getting to drive the sled on real glacier snow in the middle of summer was an unforgettable, bucket-list experience. We also loved cuddling the puppies back at the kennel. If you are visiting Seward, this tour is worth every single penny.
This was well worth doing. First, the helicopter ride out to the glacier and back was exquisite. On a clear day, the views were so beautiful that at one point I had tears in my eyes. Then the husky experience was amazing. The guides are so passionate about the dogs and the sport, riding with them was awesome and listening to their stories while we waited for the chopper to come back was great too.

A beautiful helicopter flight to the Godwin Glacier. The highlight of this tour for us was the petting time with all the sled dogs and the puppy. Although we were the last guests on the glacier, they took plenty of time for explanations and everything else. The sled dog tour will remain in our memories for a long time.
Holy crap this was the most amazing experience. No hotel in Seward as far from the airport where the helicopter departs from. The entire experience showed very personable attitudes. Everybody was extremely professional and most importantly safe regarding entry and exiting the helicopter. The pilot was friendly and informative, and the mushers and dog teams up on the glacier were very friendly and fun. Do not miss this opportunity.
