Can Gio ligt in Ho Chi Minh. Dit is ook het enige district van Ho Chi Minh City dat grenst aan de zee. Omdat de vier zijden de zee en de rivier zijn, is Can Gio als een groen eiland in de zee en wordt het ook wel de long van Saigon City genoemd. Bezoek hier, je kunt je onderdompelen in de frisse, schone lucht met groene bomen en rivieren die je ziel volledig helpen verfrissen. - Bezoek het uitgestrekte mangrovebos van Can Gio en ervaar de kans om meer dan 1000 apen te zien op Monkey Island in hun natuurlijke habitat. - Verken de krokodillenboerderij en ontmoet gigantische krokodillen, doe mee aan de krokodillenviservaring - een unieke ervaring tijdens de tour - Trektocht om het mangrovebos te bezoeken, ga naar Sac Forest en bezoek de revolutionaire basis die in het diepe bos is gebouwd - Geniet van lokale gerechten voor de lunch, "chillen" in de zon en neem een ontspannende duik op het strand van Can Gio.

7 : 30 Onze Gids haalt u op bij uw hotel (Lotcated in centrum District 1 ) en gaat naar Can Gio - dat bekend staat als Monkey Island.
Bij aankomst bezoeken we het mangobos om meer dan 1000 apen te zien leven waar je kunt voeren en foto's kunt maken met veel apen om je heen en op je schouders klimmen Verder met een korte wandeling naar het krokodillengebied waar de lokale bevolking veel enorme krokodillen uit de "Amerikaanse oorlog" bewaart
Met de speedboot naar het guerrillakamp "Sac" - dat in de diepe jungle werd gebouwd Tijdens de Vietnamoorlog was Can Gio Island een revolutionaire basis van de Noord-Vietnam soldaten. Ze gebruikten de potentiële obstakels van het bos om zichzelf te beschermen tegen het Amerikaanse leger en om zich voor te bereiden op de junglegevechten. Omdat de basis tijdens de oorlog ernstig werd verwoest, bestaat ze vandaag nog steeds als getuige van de felle maar veerkrachtige oorlog van de Vietnamezen.
Geniet van de lunch in het plaatselijke restaurant. Verder brengen we onze vrije tijd door op een lokale vismarkt die verschillende soorten verse zeevruchten verkoopt (octopus, kreeft, rog, enz...) en gedroogd voedsel.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Hotel pick-up is beschikbaar bij centraal gelegen hotels in District 1, Ho Chi Minhstad. Zorg dat u uiterlijk 10 minuten voor uw geplande ophaaltijd klaarstaat in de lobby van het hotel. Als uw hotel zich buiten het ophaalgebied bevindt, zorgen wij voor een ontmoetingspunt in District 1. Exacte ophaaltijd wordt na boeking bevestigd.

I joined this tour on a whim because I had some extra spare time during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to join a separate group because not many other travel agencies have this option. Our tour guide, Thang, was very enthusiastic throughout our time on monkey island, and we were lucky enough to see a large group of monkeys because we were there on one of the two days per month where staff at the reserve feed the monkeys. The high tide worked in our favor because we were able to take the speed boat at the end. For the fish market, I wish there were more options for samples or packaged foods to take home with us instead of buying freshly cooked foods because the plan was to eat hot pot lunch immediately after. This trip was definitely worth it, but my understanding is that your mileage may vary.
The tour through the mangroves is great. However if you wear glasses and need them to see it’s very important to have some kind of band or strap to keep them on your head. The monkeys WILL steal them and we weren’t warned ahead of time, so my husband didn’t bring his strap. if that was included in the tour description we would have been prepared. Also the final stop in the description doesn’t exist, you don’t get to go to a beach at all and we never even saw the ocean, the final meal is at a resort and you just have access to their pool, so that is very very misleading.
A brilliant day out of the city! Absolutely loved the experience—especially the monkeys, they were just too cute! Feeding the crocodiles was definitely a unique highlight. The speedboat ride to the historical war site added a great mix of excitement and education—very informative and well-presented. Lunch was also fantastic, with delicious seafood and great service. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a mix of nature, history, and fun!
Took a small group for a business outing. The tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. It was a great way to see a part of Vietnam/ HCMC that is rich with history and culture. Plus we got to see Monkeys and Crocodiles

Nice trip, love the monkeys and a little bit about the history. Except the last stop at the beach was not neccesary for us
It was interesting but too short. Could see the free-roaming monkeys and some crocodiles in restricted area. Otherwise, as with most tours, it was more eating and drinking than seeing anything. Guide was very friendly and caring for us.
This was a nice experience. We arrived before other groups so it wasn’t too grounded and there was enough time to take photos and enjoy the nature. Would recommend.
The variety of activities on this tour was great (and nice to get out of the madness of Ho Chi Minh City). We enoyed a ferry ride, boat ride thru the mangroves, feeding peanuts to the monkey's, nice lunch, short walk on the beach. Warning: Cannot wear any glasses or hats at monkeys-they will steal them from you. Take your swimming costumes to swim in pool at lunch venue. These things were not told to us prior to the tour.
We very much enjoyed our day in Can Gio. Jane kept us entertained with her humorous banter and interesting information. The food was delicious and the company great. It was lovely to meet everyone else on the trip from different parts of the world. Our driver was also excellent. Thank you for a great day out.
