Dit tour pakket geeft je de mogelijkheid om iets anders en unieks te zien met slechts een rit uit de hoofdstad, Je zult zien en dicht bij de apen komen en genieten van het prachtige en steeds veranderende platteland van Ghana (combinatie van heiligdom en cultuur). We stoppen voor de lunch nadat het water is gevallen voordat we teruggaan naar Accra De gemiddelde tijd voor deze tour is gemiddeld ongeveer 4 uur rijden per enkele reis. Afhankelijk van zowel het stads- als snelwegverkeer konden de reistijden echter min of meer oplopen. Als je toch een extra dag in je reisschema hebt, raden we je aan om ons overnachtingspakket te boeken waarmee je veel tijd kunt doorbrengen met de schoonheid van de Volta-regio en zelfs een wandeling kunt maken naar de berg Afadjato, de hoogste van Ghana. Vergeet niet om ook uw paspoorten mee te nemen, want af en toe kan immigratie u tegenhouden om uw visum te controleren. Voor degenen die zin hebben om te zwemmen moet u eraan denken om hun handdoeken en zwemspullen in te pakken.

ROUTEBESCHRIJVING: Een vroeg vertrek om 06:00 uur vanuit Accra neemt je mee op een super spannende reis door het prachtige veranderende landschap van Ghana en over de Adomi-brug naar de Volta-regio Onze eerste stop is het apendorp en onze eerste activiteit is het zoeken naar bananen, daarna gaan we op zoek naar apen - ironisch genoeg heel gemakkelijk te vinden als je eenmaal bananen hebt!
Shai Hills is het dichtstbijzijnde nationale wildparkreservaat in Accra, waar we enkele bavianen kunnen zien terwijl we verder rijden. We kunnen stoppen voor een foto-gelegenheid en onze reis terug naar Accra voortzetten
Ongeveer 4 uur rijden door het prachtige landschap en we steken het Voltameer over op de prachtige Adome-brug. U zult het genoegen hebben om de grootste en hoogste watervallen in Ghana te bezoeken, evenals de vleermuisecologie in de regio.

Highly recommend this tour. Amazing tour and amazing guides. They went above and beyond what was expected. Very friendly and kind guides. They know the area well and time the trip perfectly. There is an early start to avoid the traffic so it is worth the early rise! Guides are great with kids. My son felt like they were great friends by the end of the trip he didn’t want to go! Falls are amazing and a must see. Book this trip now!

A long day tour but worth the time. Not only the waterfalls are nice but the drive takes you through wonderful landscape in the Volta region. I would have liked some photo stops but as I was alone I took some pictures from the car. The walk is the forest is short and easy and again the landscape is awesome. Be prepared to protect your camera because the fall sprays water everywhere and it’s even difficult to get a proper shot. Much less interesting are the monkeys, some poor animals kept around for tourists. The guy running the business is very professional and a good driver. He doesn’t give much information but takes you safely around.

We did the Wli waterfalls tour and visited the monkey sanctuary. Toufic is a perfect guide; despite the lengthy journey to and from Wli and the traffic just out of Accra he was always, punctual, enthusiast, provided us with a lot of inputs and answered all our questions. We also had lunch in a nice restaurant with local dishes on the menu. A very long, yet wonderful day trip
