Leun achterover en geniet van het landschap en de ervaring terwijl wij zorgen voor het rijden in een van onze comfortabele en ruime Mercedes Benz 12, 15 of 17 - zits voertuigen. We bezoeken en proeven wijnen in de kelders van 2 West Auckland wijngaarden inclusief een heerlijke 3-gangen wijngaard lunch en een gratis wijn, bier of sap. Stel een groep van minimaal 10 volwassenen samen en maak er een dag van om te nippen, te genieten en te onthouden en laat ons u persoonlijk Gids en rondrijden op de Kumeu Wine Trail. Onze tour bezoekt 2 van de mooiste wijngaarden, doordrenkt van geschiedenis, van de Wineries Out West. U krijgt de mogelijkheid om onder andere award winnende Sparkling Muscat, Rose, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Albarino, Montepulciano, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Lagrein, cabernet Sauvignon te proeven. Dit is een kleine groepsrondleiding voor die intieme en persoonlijke ervaring begeleid door een deskundige Gids die de logistiek en navigatie voor zijn rekening neemt.

The Hunting Lodge is een wijnmakerij in het hart van Auckland's Wine Country met een rijk erfgoed en een jeugdige geest. Het is de plaats waar de gebroeders Spence, oprichters van de Matua Vineyard, de eerste Nieuw-Zeelandse Sauvignon Blanc creëerden. Gedreven om dingen een beetje anders te doen en de geest van innovatie levend te houden, toont het wijnassortiment van The Hunting Lodge niet alleen de beste wijnregio's van het land, maar ook de geest van Nieuw-Zeeland's baanbrekende karakter in wijn - de zoektocht naar iets nieuws en interessants . Ook qua verpakking en design hebben ze een ietwat onconventionele eigentijdse stijl. Elke illustratie waaruit het label bestaat, vertegenwoordigt een bepaald aspect van hun site en wijnbereidingsproces.
Meer dan 80 jaar geleden werd de eerste delicate wijnstok geplant in een veld in West Auckland. Die wijnstok groeide uit tot de wijnmakerij van de familie Soljan die vandaag de dag nog steeds bestaat. In feite kunnen maar heel weinig wijnmakerijen in Nieuw-Zeeland beweren een trotser wijnerfgoed te hebben dan Soljans. Ze zijn de op twee na oudste wijnmakerij in Nieuw-Zeeland die nog steeds eigendom is van en wordt geëxploiteerd door de oorspronkelijke familie. Vijf ononderbroken generaties zijn betrokken geweest bij het maken van wijn. Dit is onze lunchstop voor een heerlijke 3-gangen wijngaardlunch met een glas wijn naar keuze, inbegrepen in onze tourprijs.

8 of us did the West Auckland wine tasting tour - highly recommended. Each vineyard provided lots of information on their wines and provided a good selection to taste. The lunch at Soljans was delicious. A shout out to Gary at Westbrook and Matt our driver for lots of fun and laughter.

Our wine tasting + vineyard lunch tour tour is the perfect way to spend a day with friends just getting together or celebrating a birthday or anniversary. You would have loved the visit to the 4 vineyards (3 for tasting) and one for a fine-dining lunch. This is a real opportunity to learn the art of tasting wine, the history of the vineyards that we visit but also getting you outside your comfort zone tasting wines that you may not have heard of before, let alone taste. Is there any better way to spend 6 Hours in Auckland that on our Wine Tasting and 3-course vineyard lunch tour. You experienced that first hand. Add in one of our highly knowledgeable tour guides and our tour is the perfect way to spend with a group of friends or celebrating something special. You clearly loved the 4 vineyards that we visited. 3 for tasting and the 4th our stunning fine-dining vineyard lunch destination. I chose this wine tour because I thought it was very good value for money. You get picked up in the city centre and dropped off there again at the end of the day. The lunch that is included was superb. A full size main and dessert, which were both excellent.

Loved you photo. Isn't our Wine Tasting + Vineyard Lunch tour a magical experience. Not only is there the large variety of wine tasting that you mention, but also you learn the art of tasting wine, the history of all these vineyards and equally the different types of wine that we taste. This is the perfect day just to get a group of friends together and let one of our knowledgeable tour guides take care of all the little details. Add in a 3-course fine dining Vineyard lunch and you have the perfect recipe for a fantastic time that you mention. Highly highly recommended this is a must do. Even if you have never tried wine before like myself this was an amazing experience I took my mother, mother in law and aunty out for an early mother's day gift and couldn't have been more happier. What a great way to celebrate a birthday. The drive to the vineyards took us by a forest and some country bucolic scenery. Our guide was very helpful and informative. The staff at the wineries explained the subtleties of their various wines and how to pair the wine with various foods. Thank you to all involved. The Hunting Lodge wine was so delicious! Add in one of our very knowledgeable guides and as you say, you don't even need to be a wine lover. We believe this tour, in fact any of our 20 tours, is outstanding value for money as you get to visit 4 vineyards; 3 where you taste a minimum of 5 wines at each and then at the 4th, a 3-course vineyard lunch with a complimentary glass of wine, beer or juice of your choosing. I sense from your comments that you had a very special day; where you could just sit back and enjoy some very special wines like Albarino, Lagrein, Montepulciano plus, of course, some of your favourites. Wonderful day tasting wine in Kumeu with Dave as our tour guide. We went to three different wineries with a beautiful three course lunch at Soljans. The whole day was perfectly organised, Dave was very knowledgeable of the local wines and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this tour and would love to do it again.
