Castle Valley is het voorbeeld van westerse landschappen, en je hebt het waarschijnlijk al ergens in een western, tv-programma of een reclamespot gezien. En als je Castle Valley op de een of andere manier nog nooit eerder hebt gezien, zul je het niet vergeten als je dat eenmaal hebt gedaan! Dit serene deel van de Colorado-rivier slingert door een grote, prachtige vallei vol monumenten, voordat het door een torenhoge rode rotskloof snijdt die terug kronkelt naar Moab. Onderweg zijn enkele van de meest indrukwekkende geologische kenmerken van Utah te zien, zoals Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, de Priest and Nuns, enzovoort. Wat de wateren hier langs de Colorado-rivier betreft, het blijft behoorlijk warm van de late lente tot de vroege herfst. Je zult het grootste deel van je tijd zwevend doorbrengen, met een paar stroomversnellingen van klasse II om je onderweg af te koelen. Verwacht rivierspelletjes en -verhalen, plonsgevechten en veel leuke interpretaties van je gidsen tijdens deze milde reis!

Ontmoet ons op ons Moab-kantoor en bereid je voor op de rivier! Nadat je hebt ingecheckt en een reddingsvest hebt aangetrokken, ga je met je gidsen naar Castle Valley. Deze ongelooflijk mooie rit duurt ongeveer 45 minuten om de meest dramatische landschappen te bereiken, dus leun achterover en geniet ervan! Bij de bootlancering krijgt u een snelle veiligheidsoriëntatie voordat u voor een dag de Colorado River op gaat. Tussen de stroomversnellingen van klasse II heb je voldoende tijd om de bezienswaardigheden van Fisher Towers en andere monumenten van dit spectaculaire gebied te bewonderen. Je gids deelt veel fascinerende geschiedenis en leuke verhalen terwijl je door het landschap zweeft. Deze reis bestaat grotendeels uit vlak water, dus onderweg stoppen we om te zwemmen en spelletjes te spelen. De lunch is meestal rond het middaguur op het strand. De laatste helft van de reis bestaat uit snellere gedeelten, waar u achterover kunt leunen en ervan kunt genieten, of er met uw gids doorheen kunt peddelen. Aan het einde van de reis wacht er nog een mooie shuttle op je terug naar ons kantoor.

Corey was a fantastic tour guide for our family full day water rafting adventure. She took my husband and I and four kids age 7-12 through fishers towers and castle island. The winds were high and to get down stream took some serious work. The kids loved the challenge. We got twisted on a rock and she got us all off safely! Lastly- rent the water blaster - water battles kept the kids entertained. For kids younger than 8- half day is probably sufficient
Corey was an absolute rock star tour guide. She did an all day adventure with my husband and I and four kids age 7-12. She was patient, kept her cool and got us off the rocks whe. We were twisted up and gave us the best stories of the area. We also did our tour during crazy high winds which met we had to paddle down stream. Overall one of the kids favorite days- a new core memory and unforgettable for mom and dad. Despite low water levels our day was anything but mild!!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Mild to Wild River Rafting in Moab! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our guide, Gavin, truly made the trip unforgettable.
