The woman that seemed to be in charge of the shop was completely rude to us and another family. The rest of the staff were great, the kayaks are great, and our paddle was great. Too bad the experience started off so negatively. Would have given it 5 starts otherwise.

We're genuinely disappointed this happened and that it set such a negative tone right at the beginning—especially since the rest of your time with us (the staff on the water, the kayaks, and the paddle itself) was great and would have earned a perfect 5 stars otherwise. Your positive notes about the rest of the team, the quality of the kayaks, and how enjoyable the actual paddle was mean a lot to us—they remind us why we love what we do and help confirm that our core experience is delivering what people come for. At the same time, your experience at check-in is something we take very seriously. My husband and I rented for our anniversary and it was Such a amazing experience they were so generous and helpful even and we will be going back

Our family of 5 rented a waterbike, 2 kayaks, and 2 paddleboards for 2 hours and LOVED IT! The experience paddling with manatees was unreal, but the customer service from Paddles Outdoors was unmatched. I had called around to several other places that were unpleasant on the phone, but upon talking to these guys, it was like night and day! They were polite, helpful in our logistics (coming from Orlando with a small RV), and able to book us same day with rentals during a busier season. We all appreciated the easy check-in process and the ride over to the launch. Paddling to Three Rivers took us maybe 30 minutes and was doable for all of us age 14-50+. It was pretty windy, so us paddleboarding had a harder time, so check the weather! (Unrelated, we had a good time driving over to Fort Island Gulf Beach for a while after, grabbing food at Shrimp Landing on the way, before trekking back to Orlando.) All in all, EXCELLENT experience with this family-owned and operated small business! Thanks so much!

In a group we got 2 SUPs and 2 single kayaks. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Due to some high waves the day we went they showed us alternate areas to paddle to so that we could avoid the big waves/ wind tunnels. We were able to about 10 manatees from a short distance during our paddle. The water near Three Sister Springs and along Crystal River was much darker than expected, making it tough to see beneath the water. We had been to Weeki Wachee in the past and would prefer to go there in the future due to calmer waters and more clear, spring-like conditions, making for a prettier paddle trip.

Unfortunately for you, one of the windiest days of the year was when you paddled with us. On normal days when it is much calmer, the water is extremely clear in some spots and especially from April 1st through November 14th when you can paddle inside Three Sisters Springs. Please come back to visit again on a less windy day and we will show you some super clear water. Thanks again and hope to see you soon :)

They had everything ready for us as soon as we got there. They offered instructions on how to use the kayak and general points of interest on our self guided day on the water. Equipment was clean and well taken care of.
