Cat Ba National Park is gelegen op Cat Ba eiland en erkend door UNESCO als een wereld biosfeerreservaat met een rijk en uniek landschap. Het gebied omvat tropische vochtige bossen, wetlands, mangroven en koraalrifecosystemen. De makkelijkste manier om de geweldige schoonheden van Cat Ba eiland te verkennen is door een trekking van Cat Ba stad door de jungle, wilde dieren te zien en het lokale leven te verkennen, via deze route naar Viet Hai Village en neem dan een boot terug. Deze tour wordt een avontuur vanuit Cat Ba stad en is ook een interessante ervaring die je moet proberen.

8u00 - 8u20 : Onze bus en tour Gids haalt u op bij uw hotel in Cat Ba stad en begint de reis naar Cat Ba nationaal park. 9 : 00. Aankomst Nationaal Park, Onze reis Gids zal u helpen om de toegangskaarten te nemen en beginnen met wandelen vanaf de ingang van Cat Ba nationaal park. Onderweg passeren we 3 toppen genaamd : Ang Vat, May Bau, Ang Phay waar we in 5 - 10 minuten een korte pauze kunnen nemen om foto's te maken, en de diversiteit van het uitzichtpunt te ervaren. De route naar Frog Pond duurt ongeveer 2,5 uur. EN route is de kans om te genieten van vogels kijken, sightseeing in het primaire bos.
11 : 30. Je komt aan bij Frog Pond – het grootste zoetwatermeer op Cat Ba eiland. Je ziet honderden Va Nuoc bomen groeien op het water, dit soort bomen zie je hier alleen in het hele Cat Ba nationale park. Kikkervijver is ook bekend met ongeveer 400 grote en kleine eilanden en 130 kleine gouden zandstranden. Dit alles creëert een prachtig natuurlijk beeld, en ligt op de route trans-bos van het nationale park centrum naar Viet Hai dorp. 12 : 00. Na een pauze van 30 minuten gaan we verder naar Viet Hai dorp (ongeveer 4 km meer). De weg van hier naar Viet Hai dorp zal gemakkelijk gaan, want er is NO bergop meer, het pad is meestal bergafwaarts en vlak.
13 : 00. Aankomst in Viet Hai Village en ontmoet de vriendelijke lokale bevolking die in het Nationaal Park woont. Geniet van de lunch met huisgemaakt eten in een lokaal huis in Viet Hai dorp, na de lunch fietsen we om dit oude dorp met bijna 100 huizen te verkennen, probeer vismassage ervaring in de koele stroom of lokale visvijver. 14 : 00. Begin met fietsen 5km van Viet Hai Village naar Viet Hai haven, dit is de mooiste weg om te fietsen.
15 : 00. De boot stopt bij een drijvend huis, we zien het lokale leven op het water van Lan Ha baai, pakken een kajak en verkennen Lan Ha Bay – een van de mooiste baaien ter wereld. 16 : 30. De boot brengt u terug naar Cat Ba stad, op de terugweg bezoeken we Cai Beo Floating village, het oudste drijvende dorp in Vietnam met honderden huizen aan het water. 17 : 00. Aangekomen in Ben Beo haven, stap in de auto om terug te gaan naar uw hotel in Cat Ba stad.

Incredible experience, the guide was very interesting and exciting, the weather was wonderful, the kayak and the beach were heavenly!!
Really fun day out! Reasonable pricing for everything we did, took a boat around the archipelago, got to experience kayaking around some spots to get closer & see more private areas boats cant reach, provided a delicious lunch, swam in the water towards a secluded beach, visited the fishing docks, fed & pet the fishes, relaxed ontop of the boat in the sun with the breeze, and finished with a cooking class! Honestly so much fun, so many activities, experienced surrounded by islands. Our group size wasnt big at all which I preferred but it increases on busier days ofcourse. Very friendly staff, especially Hana who gave lots of fun facts and was allround a very cheerful host 😁 Thank you!
It was a really nice trip. Hana was very helpful and nice, she gave us nice informations ! thank you to hana. nonetheless, it’s quite disappointing that we had to pay for our drinks (and the bartender was very impatient on paying), when we payed so much for the trip. not having water provided in a hot day by the sea is for me a red flag. other than that, had a great time !

The day cruise from Cat Ba island was great! All logistics from our hotel door in Hanoi to the cruise and back were organized and it was seamless. The cruise was beautiful, the kayaking was awesome and all the food was tasty. Our guide Hana was especially knowledgeable and kind. We highly recommend this excursion and having Hana as your guide. It was well worth the cost!

This was an awesome daytrip and planned very well. Hana was an excellent guide and knew so much about the area. Kayaking and swimming around the bay was peaceful and beautiful and it really felt like a protected area and not just a tourist trap. Cannot recommend enough!
