Je gids leidt je door het uitgestrekte terrein en de torenhoge cipressenbossen van Ise-Jingu en geeft inzicht in het shintoïsme, de geschiedenis van het heiligdom en de juiste acties die we moeten ondernemen als we op weg zijn naar het binnenste heiligdom.
Je gids geeft je een rondleiding door Okage Yokocho voordat je stopt voor de lunch en vrije tijd om souvenirs te kopen. In de straat vind je veel bekende restaurants die lokale gerechten, ambachtelijk bier en Instagrambare desserts serveren. We raden de Ise Udon of gefrituurde oesters ten zeerste aan. Vraag gerust uw gids om lunchaanbevelingen of laat uw neus voorop lopen!
Je Gids leidt je door het eiland en deelt hoe parels worden gevormd, geoogst en omgezet in sieraden, schoonheidsproducten en meer. Je leert zelfs hoe je zelf kunt zien of parels echt of nep zijn! Tijdens uw verkenning van het eiland leert u hoe Ama-zeeduikers oesters oogsten en duurzaam vissen in de regio beoefenden lang voordat Mikimoto zijn eerste parel kweekte. Tegenwoordig gebruikt Mikimoto deze duikers om hun parels te oogsten, niet alleen voor de vaardigheden en expertise van de Ama, maar ook om deze traditie te behouden. Je krijgt de unieke kans om deze duikers in actie te zien tijdens een live demonstratie. Houd er rekening mee dat de Ama demonstratie kan worden geannuleerd vanwege het weer. Na het zien van de Ama duiken naar oesters, vervolgen we onze reis langs de kust naar een van de meest iconische heiligdommen van Ise.
Onze laatste stop van de tour is Meoto Iwa en het Futami-Okitama-heiligdom. Deze getrouwde rotsen zijn een andere belangrijke Shinto-locatie en een uitstekende plek voor foto's. Als je geluk hebt, zien we misschien zelfs het silhouet van Mount Fuji in de verte. Je gids geeft je een korte rondleiding door Meoto Iwa en helpt je bij het vertalen van je fortuin. Maak je geen zorgen, we hebben voldoende tijd om foto's te maken.

Tour leader Ms Kim talked about many fascinating history and folklore related to Ise. She would suggest some excellent photo spot. The management and weather is perfect. Definitely worth attending. Besides, she introduced a lots of food and place that we may try in Nagoya, we are looking forward to explore. We had a great tour today. The trip to the Isse Grand shrine, Kotaijingu, was excellent I learnt a lot about the Shinto traditions, gods and mythology. The beauty of the Nature forest park was never outplayed by the shrines themselves. The shrine by the sea was also beautiful with the force of the sea and wind. Our guude and driver were very good. Would reccommend.

Nice and private limited number of people tour. Both guide and driver were prompt and kind. Was able to see what Japan is like outside of the big city life yet still see national treasures. The historical information shared about the sites was good and interesting without being overwhelming and all questions were answered when asked. The trip is about 100km and a little over and hour each way by bus.
