Er zijn zoveel geweldige gerechten in New York City: pizza, bagels, pasta en natuurlijk donuts. Onze Union Square & Greenwich Village Tour brengt u naar enkele van de beste donut-emporiums in Manhattan, waar u donuts proeft die uw smaakpapillen absoluut zullen verrukken en verbazen. We beginnen met een relatieve nieuwkomer die hemelse bombolone serveert in unieke en verbazingwekkende smaken. Vervolgens een Greenwich Village-icoon dat al sinds 1964 bestaat – met een muur van donuts in alle vormen, stijlen en heerlijke smaken om uit te kiezen. En tot slot sluiten we de tour af bij een van onze favoriete winkels waar je een donut meesterwerk in brioche ervaart dat favoriet is geworden bij onze gasten. Terwijl je tussen de winkels door van de donuts loopt, wijzen onze gidsen je op bezienswaardigheden – groot en klein – en vertellen ze je alles over de lokale geschiedenis en kleur. Geloof ons – dit is een tour die je “donut” wilt missen.

Eerste stop op de tour. Unregular Bakery richt zich op Italiaanse stijl donuts bekend als bombolone.
Wandelend over Union Square wijzen we onderweg op belangrijke bezienswaardigheden en geschiedenis en eten we natuurlijk veel geweldige donuts.
Wandelen Greenwich Village, zullen we wijzen op belangrijke bezienswaardigheden en geschiedenis langs de weg, evenals het eten van veel geweldige donuts natuurlijk.
De tour eindigt bij Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery, een Tom Colicchio – een bakkerij / café met gebak, brownies en koekjes, plus zoete en hartige gebakjes.

We really loved the donut tour and its stops. Our guide heather did a great job at showing us the sites on our walk and giving us tips for the rest of our trip even pointing out some of her favorite pizza places. The donuts were delicious and we stopped at a few places I’m not sure we would have found on our own.

Steve was an amazing guide! He waited for us in the rain and took his time explaining not only the origins of our donut stops, but he told us so much about NYC’s history from the eyes of someone who totally knows and loves the city!
