Ervaar een van de meest historische gebouwen in de oude binnenstad van San Diego tijdens deze live begeleide nachttour. Het Whaley House werd in 1857 gebouwd door Thomas Whaley, een pionier uit San Diego, als zijn ouderlijk huis. In de loop van de geschiedenis heeft het Whaley House gediend als winkel, gerechtsgebouw en theater. Er wordt gezegd dat het Whaley House ‘meer geschiedenis heeft meegemaakt dan enig ander gebouw in de stad’. Het wordt ook vaak "Het meest spookhuis van Amerika" genoemd! Bezoek het Whaley House en geniet van een historisch kijkje in het vroege Californië en ervaar de rijke Griekse Revival-architectuurstijl, de authentieke inrichting en het mysterieuze en huiveringwekkende verleden van het huis.

Maud was our tour guide and was a great addition to the fun. She made the tour interesting by adding her own personality to the mix. We didn’t see any ghosts but the experience was cool! The guest shop was also fun with lots of souvenir options.
We did night tour. The house was only lit by gas lanterns which made the house feel creepy because it was so dim. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Whaleys. Our guide must have had some theatre training because she gave the right amount of pause and facial expressions as she told their story. Our group asked a lot of good questions. No one felt any presence but it was still fun and informative.
Thrilling and shiver inducing historic tour that we enjoyed immensely. The stories were intriguing, the history spine-tingling.

We did an evening tour. History was interesting, furniture was time period correct. Guide was very knowledgeable, my only concern was her trying to scare everyone by pounding on doors or slamming things. With a heighten startle response- I did not appreciate it.
This was an AWESOME experience!!! Darcy, our tour guide, was really great at creating the ambiance and relating the history of Whaley House! Although no paranormal experiences, my husband got a picture that that made you scratch your head and go hhhmmmm. I would love to go again!!! Highly recommend this tour even if only for the historical background.
Very informative and interesting. Is there a paranormal presence? I say maybe! We thought we felt something in certain rooms.

It was an interesting tour with lots of information and the tour guide Darcy was great. She was very knowledgeable about the history and residents of the house. The museum store was great as well.
