Het South Main Historic District van de stad – een eclectisch, kleurrijk gebied met enkele van de oudste gebouwen van de stad – heeft een lange geschiedenis van sensationele moorden en spookachtige activiteiten. Tijdens deze 90 minuten durende wandeltocht in de buitenlucht bezoekt u een aantal spooklocaties, waaronder: • Het Orpheum Theater, de thuisbasis van 'Mary', die al sinds 1921 spookt bij voorstellingen • Het John Alexander Austin House, een herenhuis uit het Victoriaanse tijdperk dat wordt achtervolgd door liefhebbers van sterren • Het beruchte Ernestine & Hazel's, een voormalig bordeel dat al lang erkend wordt als een van de meest spookachtige gebouwen in Memphis. - Binnen een paar blokken zijn er vier verschillende parkeergarages en verschillende openluchtparkeerplaatsen. De dichtstbijzijnde garage bij onze locatie (slechts twee straten verderop) bevindt zich op Peabody Place 149, tussen Second Street en BB King Blvd., naast de Hampton Inn. U kunt ook uw geluk beproeven met betaald parkeren op straat, in Second Street, net ten zuiden van Beale; op Beale tussen Front en Second; of langs Peabody Place van Front naar Fourth Street.
- Nadat de tour is afgerond, zijn gasten van harte welkom om te verblijven in Earnestine & Hazel's, op slechts 10 minuten lopen terug naar Beale St. (reizen naar het noorden op Main St.). Gasten zijn altijd welkom om samen met hun gids terug te lopen naar Beale St.
- Deze tour beslaat een afstand van ongeveer 2 mijl op openbare trottoirs met enige hoogte.
- Deze tour wordt meestal buiten uitgevoerd en is exclusief toegang tot een van deze gebouwen. Kleed je alsjeblieft dienovereenkomstig.

Daniel was great providing not only ghost tales but also a little overall history. I have to say the last stop gave us all the chills. I took video and picture there and captured some pretty disturbing images and a crazy laugh followed by a scream on video. Great time and very informative ghost tour with Daniel, he loves his city and holds deep appreciation for the local community. Will definitely come back and visit. The price was fair for the quality tour and the walk was not too strenuous.
Sheena was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, it was clear how passionate and dedicated she is to making the experience memorable for everyone. She brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the tour, and her knowledge of Memphis and its history made every stop interesting and engaging. What really stood out was how much Sheena genuinely cared about the group and the experience we were having. Our guide Sheena was very good and knowledgeable about the history and paranormal information about Memphis however, I thought that the description of the tour was very misleading. You definitely do a lot of walking which was stated but you only get to go into one place!!! The rest is looking at the outside of the buildings! So for that it was disappointing. After coming from so far I may never get back to Memphis again but the people in our group were told that “ maybe next time” we could go into the theater.
Our tour guide Daniel was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and engaging - about the ghosts as well as Memphis city history and culture- highly recommend, but it is a good 2 mile walk total and some stairs may be necessary - bathroom break is included - absolutely loved it!
Ghost Tour, and Daniel was an amazing guide! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great way of telling the stories that kept everyone interested from start to finish. He balanced the history with the spooky legends perfectly and was happy to answer questions along the way. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that made the experience even better. We really enjoyed this Memphis walking ghost tour. Our tour guide Daniel was very knowledgeable and gave us a very thorough and interesting tour about the ghosts of some Memphis locations. He even took us upstairs in a haunted pub. We had a great time and highly recommended this 90 minute walking ghost tour.
Great experience! Our guide, John was extremely knowledgeable and answered lots of questions including a couple of places to eat! He was also very respectful about the people in his historical tales. We appreciated that. We would definitely do another tour with them.
