Hatta is het bergachtige kleine zusje van Dubai. Een exclave van het emiraat dat aan de grens met Oman ligt, profiteert van een fantastisch natuurlijk landschap en een meer ontspannen tempo van leven dan de grote steden van de VAE. Minder dan twee uur rijden van Dubai, het is een goede keuze voor een weekendje weg en dichtbij genoeg voor een mini-dagtocht. In de winter is Hatta de plek om te wandelen, fietsen, kajakken en avontuur, terwijl het in de zomer een bezoek waard is vanwege de koelere klimaten. Als u een reis naar het oosten plant, is hier alles wat u moet weten over waar te verblijven en wat te doen waar te gaan voor de beste lokale gerechten in de stad. Hatta is een oud dorp in de bergen en werd traditioneel gebruikt om te ontsnappen aan de brandende zomerhitte van Dubai. Gelegen aan de uitlopers van het Hajar-gebergte en wordt veel traditionele cultuur en erfgoed geschonken.

Tijdens een dagtrip van Dubai naar Hatta kan je ook naar Hatta Dam Photo Stop worden gebracht. Het uitgestrekte meer gevormd door de barrière is een prachtig gezicht met helderblauw water dat de omliggende bergen weerspiegelt.
Het 63.915 vierkante kilometer grote gebied ligt boven een berg en is een populaire plek voor picknicks en barbecues. Hatta Hill Park ook een speelveld voor kinderen, renbanen en sportvelden. Op het hoogste punt van de berg staat een toren, die u kunt beklimmen voor een uitstekend uitkijkpunt van het prachtige Hajar-gebergte en het dorp.
Het Hatta Heritage Village is populair bij toeristen die het niet al te verre verleden van het leven in de Emiraten willen zien. Dit gerestaureerde traditionele dorp is een van de oudste van het land, daterend uit ongeveer de derde eeuw voor Christus. Zorgvuldig gereconstrueerde stenen huizen en waterputten zitten tussen twee wachttorens, een traditionele majlis en een fort. Er is ook een mooie verzameling oude foto's met details over het traditionele leven in Hatta, een mandweefgebied en een museumruimte met oude gereedschappen en wapens. De palmboomkwekerij Al Sharria naast de deur heeft een geweldig voorbeeld van het oude falaj-irrigatiesysteem.

I booked a day trip to Hatta with friends through ViaTor, and it went very badly. The driver refused to take us to our destination and was unpleasant and unprofessional. We paid for nothing, and no one has offered a refund. The service was extremely disappointing, and the driver categorically refused to do his job. I would not recommend this agency. Be careful if you expect reliable and professional service.
We had booked a day in Hatta with this charity with friends, and unfortunately the experience was disastrous from start to finish. However, we had taken care to warn the guide the day before that we would finally be 4 people instead of 3, so that a suitable vehicle was planned. He confirmed that everything was taken into account. On D-Day, we had the unpleasant surprise to find that the driver arrived late, and especially that it was a small sedan totally unsuitable, with 3 people supposed to crowd in the back, which is unacceptable for an organized service. Faced with this situation, the organization showed a total lack of professionalism, without proposing any solution or even a care. We were forced to take a taxi at our own expense to continue the day. On top of that, we were confronted with a disrespectful and unprofessional attitude, which made the experience even more unpleasant. I strongly advise against this body. Catastrophic service, poor organization and total disregard for customers.
The drive to the Dam was scenic. Saw some Camels on farms, beautiful mountains and deserts on the way to the Dam. The Dam was stunning with great views of the shimmering water nestled between the jagged mountain range.

Booked this excursion through Viator and none came at the hotel to take us for the tour. No answers through tchat with the tour operator, no answer to Phone call and not any apologies later. Day lost... avoid it not trustworhty at all
Probably a good tour, and I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately the provider cancelled at the last minute -- without informing me...
I received a confirmation email with ticket, but no one from Baisan tour company showed up. I called after waiting 20+ minutes past the pickup time and they said they could offer me a different tour or a different day. They agreed to text me details within 5 minutes. One hour later, still no text. I don't think you can trust this company. You might have a great experience, but you might also waste a day of time and have to haggle to get your money back. If you book well in advance you might have better luck. I had a great experience with the Platinum Heritage tour company.

3 out of 5 attractions were closed and the tour operator didn't even bother to check and inform in advance or offer a different time
Dear Sir First of all apologies if any places of tours are closed and you remained dissatisfied. We have published its Sight Seen City tour with photo stops. If some places in any city tour get closed due to Some Govt Reasons, Still our motive to visit the places and photo stops are covered. In regards to Checking, you can double-check the websites of the places, it mentions open always, how do we find that any place is going to get closed suddenly or they may have closure due to any sudden unplanned VIP movement, so whats our fault. So I consider we completed our duty of Sight seens to all locations and made you visit hatta with good guide.

Had a good day to hatta from Dubai. Our driver Rizwal was nice and good at telling us about the history of Hatta etc. and I’d definitely recommend this trip to people who visit Dubai and want to see som other parts of the UAE.
