De prijs is £75 per persoon op basis van een minimum van 4 deelnemers. Als er minder dan 4 personen worden geboekt wanneer u reserveert, kan een kleine groep toeslag van £ 30 pp van toepassing zijn. Deze toeslag wordt echter volledig terugbetaald als de uiteindelijke groepsgrootte 4 of meer bereikt. Maak een zachte wandeling (1,4 mijl) rond het culturele centrum van Harrogate en stop bij vijf onafhankelijke eet- en drinkgelegenheden om heerlijke Yorkshire Fare te proeven. Vanaf 12.45 uur op een donderdag en 11.30 uur op een zaterdag vindt de tour plaats over 3 uur. Elke halte is zorgvuldig gekozen voor zijn smakelijke aanbod en zijn bijdrage aan de lokale voedselscene. Uw deskundige Gids vertelt u alles over de geschiedenis van de stad en ook over de mensen achter de bedrijven, en natuurlijk het eten. Aan het einde van de tour heb je het equivalent van een zeer royale lunch met een wandeling tussen de gangen gegeten. Je krijgt ook een inzicht in waarom Harrogate is een van de gelukkigste plaatsen om te wonen in Groot-Brittannië.

A lovely day taking in the interesting history of Harrogate with some really good food from local suppliers. We found places to eat that we had never noticed before and will return to. We looked at buildings and noticed things that we had never thought to look up and see. All in all, a lovely day with a very pleasant guide.

We've now completed two York food tours with Yorkshire Appetite and both have been fantastic afternoons with a couple of different stops on the most recent tour! This weekend we had Kay as a guide and she is so nice, friendly and knowledge! It was lovely to learn some of York's history and have great food (and lots of it) and drinks along the way! What an amazing tour of Harrogate! . Kay, our lovely guide showed us around telling us historical and fun facts about this beautiful town. The places she chose to stop for food and drinks were a great mix and it was lovely to support small businesses. We were part of a fun group of people and the sun was shining so it was a very pleasant way to spend a few hours! We would definitely recommend this tour.

Really enjoyed today’s tour of Harrogate with our guide Kay who was very informative and introduced us to x5 different excellent venues and dishes. We will definitely be visiting them again. Amazing walking food tour with Jill. This was our second walking tour (the last was in York) but this time we had a private tour which was well worth the £50 supplement charge. Tried a variety of new food that neither of us had tried before. Great selection of venues and incredible local history knowledge. Would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys food, history and good company.

We didn’t really know what to expect as neither my wife or myself had ever done a walking food tour. What an absolute success it turned out to be. My sister and I had a wonderful lunch food tour experience in Harrogate. Our Host was Marieanne a local lady. Marieanne took us to to five incredible historic building run by local eateries. Every quality dish was carefully selected for us. She pointed out many historical building and went out of her way to personalize our 3 plus hours together. One of my favorite stops was the Ice-cream business. The owner gave us a very interesting insights how he makes his ice cream and what the difference in mass production makes on the final product. The walk through the Valley Gardens was beautiful. We highly recommend this tour.
