Vertrek op een opwindende reis door Hanoi aan boord van de Vietnam Legendary Jeep, die een unieke verkenning biedt van de levendige hoofdstad van Vietnam. Begin met het oversteken van de iconische Long Bien-brug, die de veerkracht van de stad symboliseert, en geniet van een panoramisch uitzicht op de Rode Rivier. Vervolg je expeditie terwijl de legendarische Jeep je naar de bezienswaardigheden en verborgen schatten van Hanoi leidt. We passeren het majestueuze mausoleum van Ho Chi Minh naar de serene Tempel van de Literatuur. Navigeer door de levendige straten van de wijk Reunification Railway Street, waar de Franse architectuur naadloos samengaat met de bruisende lokale markten. Duik dieper in de wijken van Hanoi, maak contact met de lokale bevolking en ontdek verborgen juweeltjes. Verken de levendige markten van Cho Gioi en duik in de geschiedenis in het B52 Victory Museum. Sluit uw reis af met een culinair feest in een gerenommeerd lokaal eetcafé, waar u kunt genieten van authentieke Vietnamese gerechten gecombineerd met traditionele lekkernijen zoals eierkoffie of mangopuddingdessert.

Ontmoet onze gids en chauffeurs in je hotel, waar ze een veiligheidsbriefing geven over rijtechnieken en tips voor comfortabel zitten op de jeep. Ze zullen ook de reisroute in detail doornemen en informeren naar eventuele dieetbeperkingen. Zodra iedereen klaar is, gaan we op pad om de straten te verkennen en de historische Long Bien-brug te bezoeken, een symbool van de vasthoudendheid en veerkracht van Hanoi.
Tijdens onze rit verkennen we zowel de beroemde bezienswaardigheden als de minder bekende delen van Hanoi, waarbij we de rijke cultuur en geschiedenis van de stad opsnuiven. Daarna zullen we genieten van een verfrissend glas Bia Hoi, de nationale drank, voordat we aan boord gaan van een korte cruise naar West Lake om de koele bries te ervaren.

We zigzaggen door smalle steegjes naar het Huu Tiepmeer, waar nog steeds een in 1972 neergeschoten vliegtuig midden in een rustige buurt ligt. Onderweg stoppen we bij het huis van een lokale familie en praten we met de eigenaar, een oorlogsveteraan, over zijn fascinerende verhalen over Vietnam vanaf zijn kindertijd tot de moderne tijd. We zullen ook meer leren over de Vietnamese cultuur en gewoonten.
We verkennen het beroemde treinspoor waar de lokale bevolking op slechts enkele centimeters afstand woont. Om de lokale gemeenschap te steunen en authentieke gerechten te proeven, lunchen we in door een familie gerunde eetgelegenheden waar de lokale bevolking graag rondhangt met vrienden. Daarna stoppen we bij een speciaal café dat al sinds 1946 eierkoffie schenkt.

Fun-filled, informative mini afternoon adventure in and around Hanoi - both in the main city and outer areas, including banana island. Saw a different side to Hanoi with knowledgeable, fun and friendly tour guides, Lính and Viet Anh. Finished off with awesome coffee in train street then a local cafe serving new Pha and local foods. This was an amazing tour from start to finish our tour guide Jinny was amazing, she was so very kind, concederate and very knowledgeable, nothing was a problem for her and she was more than happy to answer all questions. The tour its self was fantastic, the sights, the history, oh and the food, the secret spots just great. Pick up was early very professional our driver was very very good driver. I booked this with my hotel (Hotel du Lac Signature). An amazing day! Summi (the guide) and Kai (our driver) were sensational, and extremely knowledgeable. Ginny was a great guide we did the Hanoi insight half day by jeep and the only drawback was we spent too much time on banana Island and didn’t get to see enough of the city of Hanoi, so overall my advice will be to spend less time on banana Island. That said, overall the trip was good and our guide Ginny was very informative spoke excellent English and very easy and fun.

This tour was worth every penny. There was no way I would have had such a great experience trying to do all the activities on my own.
