Vervolg vervolgens de tour naar de Linyin-tempel. Our tour to Hangzhou, West Lake, and the Longjing Tea Plantation was one of the highlights of our trip to China. West Lake was absolutely stunning, with its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and unforgettable views. Visiting the Longjing Tea Plantation was a wonderful experience, and it was fascinating to learn about the production of one of China’s most famous teas while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Everything was perfectly organized, and our tour guide, Lea, was exceptional. She was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. Her interesting explanations and warm personality made the tour even more enjoyable, and she was always happy to answer our questions and make sure everyone had a great experience. This was a fantastic day filled with beautiful landscapes, culture, and unforgettable memories. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai. I chose this tour as I wanted the flexibility for my husband and I to do the bits we wanted and to skip the parts we were not interested in. Roy was great and had a lot of knowledge. Right from our initial booking, all arrangements were handled smoothly. Lea, who was our tour guide, spoke good English and was punctual in keeping time. She was attentive to our needs and knowledgeable about the history and local legends. I would definitely recommend the Hangzhou tour. We walked around the West Lake, visited the Lei Feng Pagoda and He Fang Street. It was refreshing, beautiful and interesting. We particularly enjoyed the visit to the tea village, where we had a delicious lunch of their typical local fare. The demonstration to present the benefits of their famous long jing tea was informative and interesting.
Perfect day trip to give you a taste of Hangzhou from the lake to a quiet tea farm. Lea was an excellent guide from getting us to the train station to navigating from site to site. We had a delicious lunch near the tea farm with a savory chicken soup that was perfect for the chilly day. We went on a Tuesday so while there plenty of other tourists it was not packed or hard to navigate. I was so mesmerized by the mountain temple that I started to forget to take photos. I look forward to going back to Hangzhou during the warmer months to see all the flora that Lea pointed out and the mist over the area.
