Kom in contact met de natuur en ontdek de fascinerende dynamiek van het tropische regenwoud van Arenal terwijl je over de indrukwekkende hangbruggen wandelt. Deze tocht volgt een comfortabel pad van 3 km, waardoor je het unieke avontuur kunt beleven van wandelen boven het bladerdak van het bos/over hangbruggen. Onder begeleiding van een gecertificeerde natuurgids leert u meer over het ecosysteem van het regenwoud en spot u apen en een grote verscheidenheid aan vogels, allemaal in hun natuurlijke habitat, te midden van prachtige uitzichten op het regenwoud. Deze tour is geschikt voor alle soorten reizigers en heeft een gemakkelijke moeilijkheidsgraad, waardoor hij ideaal is voor gezinnen en natuurliefhebbers. Deze excursie bestaat uit 2 mijl te voet door de primaire jungle waar je op verschillende hoogtes kunt zijn en je veel flora en fauna zult zien zoals zoogdieren, spinnen, slangen, insecten en vogels. In totaal zullen we 6 hangbruggen en 10 stijve bruggen oversteken, deze plek heeft een spectaculair uitzicht op de beroemde Arenal-vulkaan.

I traveled solo and did the hanging bridges group tour. Alex was our guide, and he was wonderful! He found soooo much wildlife for us that we would have never found on our own. He was so knowledgeable, kind and we had a lot of fun with him! It was a great tour and Alex was a great guide!

We had a very disappointing experience with our tour guide, Anderson. From the beginning, his attitude was arrogant and dismissive. When we asked a simple question about where we might observe monkeys, he responded with, “This is not a zoo,” in a rude and unprofessional tone. It quickly became clear that Anderson either lacked the knowledge or the motivation to help us spot wildlife, which is a key part of any nature tour. He made no effort to engage or guide the group in meaningful ways. Even more concerning, a family of four (Group 4) became completely lost in the park during the tour. Instead of taking responsibility, Anderson failed to organize the group properly or keep track of all participants — which included both seniors and children. We wasted a significant amount of time trying to locate them, and shockingly, he never even apologized to the group or acknowledged the seriousness of the situation. In our opinion, Anderson is not qualified to lead tours, especially when the safety and enjoyment of a group depends on good communication, organization, and respect. We expected a professional and enriching experience, but instead, we were left frustrated and disappointed.

The views were amazing and our guide Kevin was awesome! We got to see a variety of birds, reptiles, and insects and got some great photos!

Walking across the bridges is really the only thing and the best thing to do here. The trail is pretty boring. There’s nothing to see. It’s worth admission to walk over the hanging bridges and I’m glad I did it, but I wouldn’t do it twice The view of the volcano after the tour is the best anywhere

The Hanging Bridges tour is very popular but this first week of May is much slower. We requested Samuel as our guide and there were just the two of us to enjoy his very rich knowledge of the 2 mile trek through the rain forest. He hears and sees things the other tour guides were missing, lucky for us!
The guideswere excellent and knew what they were talking about. I walk with a cane and I fell kind of behind, but there was one guide that stayed with me the whole time & assisted me, I felt comfortable, not being left so far behind. I thought I got my money worth out of the trip because there’s someone with me the whole time. I f felt comfortable that even though I was having a difficult time, walking up those ramps to the bridges, the guides cared about me.
We had an amazing time! We saw so much wildlife & our guide was patient and knowledgeable! Definitely a must-do to experience the rainforest
Really enjoyed the tour thanks to our guide, David. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and plant life in the park and was excited to talk about what we were seeing. The park was a bit crowded in late November, but it was beautiful and we learned a lot on the way.
Booked a last minute private tour, met Jose Luis aka Chino, and Oli the driver, awesome people. Chino was incredibly knowledgeable and what an eye and an ear!! We were beey lucky to have him be our guide. And his photography skills!!! Priceless, amazing. Worth the money and experience. We saw howling monkeys at the end, very cool. He could spot the tiniest bug, insect, snake!! Amazing. Definitely recommend him.
